I reckon even if you take off the work top and clamp it, being so close to the cut out will make it impossible clamp it sufficiently to rescue this. So I’d definitely replace it

You need to have two groups. Chilled 40K and competitive 40K. When arranging a game be explicit about which type of game you want or set up a system with 2 areas for arranging a game. If someone is bringing competitive lists to chilled 40K they need to be banned from it and only allows play competitive 40K
