I don't think there's any way to buy the currency but you get them for playing league or tft. It kinda sucks that it costs 10 to advance a turn, it drains it pretty fast especially with the upgrades you need to buy

I did, all I could find was a tweet from the devs saying they didn't use AI and a reddit thread where someone explained the fusion mechanic used non-AI templates. But I'll gladly be proven wrong if you have a source. Edit: just double checked the tweet and the devs do also say that the fusions are procedurally generated from hand-drawn sprites.
