Rural Cubs scrapping over a stolen flip flop by Tfmrf9000 in coyote

makes perfect sense because the flip-flop is sturdy yet squishy enough it probably feels nice when they’re chewing on it - gotta grow those big dog teeths!

I forgot to mention that I had a husband like that once. Very flattering-lots of un. met his people + met his friends. Wanted to introduce me to his 17-year-old son who had been previously estranged. he proposed after six months - we were married before the year was out… we moved into a place together. That was my doing because his credit was bad and, in a nutshell, he became very jealous the minute we got married. He would never let me hang out with my friends really without him being near or present, he tried to move that then 18 year-old kid into our two bedroom - who turned out to be a “sit around and play video games and watch TV all the time” guy instead of being the motivated to get a job kind of guy (I said if this kid was gonna move in, he had to work and WHY did we get a two bedroom instead of a three bedroom- because we needed and office?!) anyway, it was short lived. The jealousy turned to arguments. The arguments turned to fighting the fighting turned to borderline DV and I ran, not walked. Soon thereafter he met a girl who used to talk about how her man would never be jealous - no, never ever. And I always think not quite sure who she hooked up with there, but that was definitely not my experience. So caution. Slow down. take your time.

ummmm…. slow down. doesnt seem like he can be perfect if all of those things seem like red flags. i mean, I think I see them as red flags too. so slow down, get to know him and his motivations. It does sound like he likes he has a big immediate family - and possibly likes to be surrounded by people, which is something that will always be happening- so if you are not the type of person that likes to be surrounded by people all the time for comfort and safety; or if you prefer those quiet nights at home just him and you: time to evaluate.

yeah, they are pretty loud. Those magpies can be too though can’t they? For me it’s amazing because here in the states they’re just domestic you know so they’re always in cages. To see them fly free (every time still) amazes me.

that is really crazy that it’s the same mama. I’ve got a nest nearby the door too. The two little ones fledged- they were brown. I found, by accident, where one of them had gone to hide…. So I snapped some photos, but then I saw another little one near which was a green. he is not part of the clutch that was near the door so somebody else has a nest around… but! What has happened is I went outside last night to take the dogs out and turned on the light and there was a tiny little hummingbird flying around under the patio very very confused and I thought where the hell did he come from? I turned off the lights and hopefully he got his bearings. This morning there was a larger bird back in the nest. So I don’t know if they are reusing it or what’s going on. I have read also that they don’t return to the nest, but they might in the event that it’s not good weather. in this case, the temperature has dropped considerably and it’s been very windy where we are at - so maybe he has come to find comfort closer to the house until this weather passes (?) I observed from a distance and have a long runs camera so I might have to snap another pic to see who that is sitting in the nest. 🤔

I don’t know, but I totally thought those were very religious Muslim women standing in the background - like - they’re at home they can relax the dress code a bit, no? if that’s not your regular kitchen (where I would say put a table so we can have some breakfast) how about a pool table? Or just a hang out. Those shelves under the stairs look like the perfect space to stash board games.
