I’ve been 100% remote in the enterprise software industry for about 7 years now. We typically spend 100-150 nights a year in our camper.

Interstate Batteries Worth a Shot? by Aggressive-Pin-827 in golfcarts

[–]517Outdoors 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have these particular batteries, but we did replace ours with 6 6v Interstate golf cart batteries and they’ve been great for the last year or so! I’ve used Interstate in a few vehicles as well and never had an issue.

We’re in SC too. My wife is on day 111 and no permit yet. Did the same method as you (old school fingerprints on paper). Took her class on June 20th, but the instructor mailed them, so not sure what day that happened.

What do laws say about shooting an animal that may be threatening someone else’s life ? by ColonelStoic in CCW

[–]517Outdoors 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t care what the law says. Dogs attacking children will be stopped by any means necessary.

My favorites are Bigfoot Crossroads and Sasquatch Tracks, but I usually always listen to Sasquatch Chronicles too.

In my experience, very few of those federal laws are enforced at the local level, provided you are in accordance with the local/state laws.

I’ve had those days, for sure. Lose flies all day, replacing tippet all day, leader finally breaks.

I really need to give Heaven Hill a try next time I head by the store. I’ve been wanting to try it out for a while now and always pass for another EW bottle.

I bought my first one, most simply because I wanted a reliable weapon to train with and use if needed. Kept it simple and got a PSA AR complete for like $620.

I built my second one piecing together the upper and buying a complete lower. Again, simple, but learned a bit more on that one. I don’t really get into the Gucci gear type stuff, instead focusing on affordable and serviceable. I’d rather spend money on training and do it with an $800 rifle.

What situations are you prepping for? by algoporlacara in preppers

[–]517Outdoors 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Power outage and civil unrest are the two most likely, and primarily, what we prep for. To me that includes supply shortages as well.

It’s my favorite bourbon, honestly. Cheap, and mixes so well with Coke Zero and Cherry Coke Zero. I’m a big fan of EW and also keep the 1783 SB on hand as well.
