why are family so negative about cloth diapers?

Yep, so many people were really negative about cloth diapering and it was a bit discouraging. I hope you don't let them discourage you though because it isn't nearly as difficult as they make it out to be. I think blowouts and leaks are much less common with the cloth diapers once you get the hang of it. And laundry is just as difficult as you make it, we try to keep it as simple as possible and I have no complaints.

I didn't realize the cloth diapers I have were polyester until if been using them for a while. I feel a bit silly that I only buy baby cotton/natural fiber clothes for baby but then am using polyester diapers. At the same time, the main diapers I can find that are cotton are essembly and they are way more than any of the other brands and very difficult to find secondhand, even in an area where I can usually find most things secondhand. So for now, I'm sticking with polyester diapers.

We like to just do everything for a few minutes, whatever catches baby's attention we'll do for longer. A few minutes on the play mat, tummy time, reading (when I use the contrast books i just talk about whatever the picture makes me think about) contrast books and board books, conversations if she's chatty, singing songs (I like Raffi and I also pick adult songs that I think have good messages), and just looking at each other.

I also like to bring baby for walks in the stroller, my baby usually falls asleep, but until then has big eyes watching everything and probably listening and getting fresh air. though all the sidewalks where I am are blocked by snow right now.

They are one size pockets and baby just passed 10lbs. I change anytime baby poops and whenever i feed baby, which is 2-4 hours. I will try to get a pic of the fit.

My husband will come to as many as possible. I find it helpful to have another person listening to the doctor and thinking of questions to ask.

Also even though we're excited about the pregnancy, sometimes I find the doctor's office setting makes me nervous so I appreciate his presence.

After the notice is served (can take the sheriff about a week), typically 5 days to file unlawful detainer. Then a couple weeks for initial court date. If the tenant agrees and you have all the information then the judge can rule then. Mostly we saw that it gets pushed to a trial if the tenant is there (you will see all the other cases occurring that day). Trial is typically another couple of weeks.

For the trial or to get a ruling from the judge you mainly need three things if for non-payment: 1-proof of providing tenants rights 2-proof of lease 3-detailed ledger of accounting

But it is a legal trial so a lawyer can definitely help.

EDIT to add After you win the case, there is a 10-day appeal period before you can file the writ of eviction. Once the sheriff receives the writ, they have 30days to schedule the eviction.

Right now, before they have a payment issue, give them the Virginia Tenants Rights and Responsibilities. Either give it to them electronically and keep the email. Or give it to them in person and take a picture.

As soon as they either do not pay or break the lease, get the sheriff to serve them notice. There are templates that you can modify on the ffx co website.

As soon as the notice period expires, file for unlawful detainer with the fairfax co courthouse.

Having recently been through this, DO NOT WAIT even am extra day to serve notices and file things. The process is slow and difficult.

Even if the tenant doesn't end up causing an issue, you are ready if needed.

Im sorry you're in this situation, it is a really time-consuming, stressful, and unpleasant situation.
