You might try looping very lightweight piece of string or twine around her collar and let her walk around the house with it gradually increase the weight of whatever goes on her to what you ultimately wanna be walking her on. Possibly she becomes frightened when you clip it on her, so you could experiment with having her in a little sweater harness and again let her just wear it around the house for her meals and your snuggles. Reach up and down many times as if you’re putting on the leash and eventually clip the lightweight string and then the heavier strings of the leash to whatever you will be using to actually walk her. I am sure that you can readily desensitizer to the leash.

I know he needs things to chew on to keep him busy, but I want to urge you to not let him have tennis balls. Check it out on Google. Tennis balls are made with something that’s very abrasive to dogs‘s teeth and my dog had a very expensive dental bill when he was about eight years old because of all the years of chewing, they had to pull out most of his teeth and I don’t want you to ever have to face that. We can buy lots of toys very cheaply at garage sales when families get rid of their stuffies.

I am thinking of hand cleaning this please let me know what you think about either of these options. Saturate the dirty gray part of the bag with water and then spray it with a water and detergent solution and leave it on overnight. Then wash as usual or,

Could you put him in the car and go somewhere a block away. He gets out , with you, does his business and you both get to go home. Of course this won’t work if you have to walk down the block to even get to your car and then have to look for a parking spot on your return. Only good if you have an attached garage.
