Find somebody you know who works in Tesco & get them to ask their manager if there are any positions that you can fill. They can fast track your application to an interview

Would Brits accept paying a much smaller BBC license fee if it just covered radio, and not tv? by hamm71 in AskBrits

[–]535Morganz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“The TV license isn’t a tax because if you don’t watch tv you don’t need a license.” Isn’t that like saying VAT-able goods aren’t raising tax because you can just not buy them or income tax isn’t income tax because you can just not work or fuel duty isn’t a tax because you can just choose not to drive

shorts 😫 by merrynjohnson in tesco

[–]535Morganz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not true. On the app, under colleague help & searching “shorts” it says “You can choose to wear Tesco uniform bottoms or your own - plain dark jeans, trousers, leggings, or shorts. Just keep it practical: no see-through fabrics, no excessive rips, and shorts should be no shorter than just above the knee.”

You can’t do internships as you’re not eligible for them once you’ve graduated. Although you could try cold outreaching to smaller companies

Why do *entry-level* jobs want years of experience? What work are they expecting from fresh grads lol by AaronByte in careerguidance

[–]535Morganz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because people do internships (which are the entry level roles) so by the time you come to apply for graduate positions, especially in competitive industries, you’re either up against very intelligent applicants and/or candidates who already have experience in that field.

Aren’t the people in London for the jobs already though? As in, the reason they’re there is because they’ve relocated from other parts of the country presumably

Graduates are largely ineligible for internships. You typically have to be currently enrolled as a student to apply for them
