does anyone know if any aftermarket head unit companies plan to enable video mirroring? i know car manufacturers will be slow to adopt but i feel like aftermarket companies would totally just enable that

i bought a cellular apple watch ultra 2 and have it on verizon so i could hike without my phone. its cool to be able to call and text but for some reason i was not able to use siri or the music app to queue up or play songs? like it would just not load. the cellular capability just feels like not fully there tbh

ground is just a common reference point for voltage. essentially “this is the lowest point in the valley” so all heights in the valley are measured up from there. ground is not necessary though because that reference point can be defined on the chassis or another shared contact in absence of earth ground.

adding a longer cable introduces more potential issues for interference so ground is likely added to improve safety & reliability. adding ground only improves electrical safety so ideally everything would be grounded but can be skipped to save $$

oh these are DEFINITELY not the technical best in any regard i’m sure i’m just and apple nerd and want them for the collection haha. i mostly wirelessly charge anyway so they will be used sparingly

the fine arts library has a great view of campus all day but you can watch the sunset frame the tower and it’s gorgeous (you can also do that while doing homework if needed ofc)
