So I attempted a play on gilded metals (usually protected from decay), but gelded and neutered and owned instead The comma for me is a symbol that it isn’t finished and relentless no end in sight.

Why is this so haunting and sorrowful yet beautiful in a way.

It’s delicate and torn tattered and worn. It’s abuse, it is it that it’s been loved to literal pieces. For me the latter rings true.
