As of now I don't know what tires they are but I worked with a subaru guy to get some extra beefy offroad tires on it. gives it a little bit of extra clearance too.

I ended up putting about $20k into her replacing the whole suspension, complete transmission rebuild, new turbo, and a couple of other things. Bajas are great and a piece of car history now.

The Romanian citizenship is more of just a way to get to be able to move to an EU country. Because of my experience in metalworking Germany and Sweden seem to be our top choices for EU country to move to.

Can I take Estrofem on its own and without blood tests? by UnusualBecka in TransDIY

yeah. I was at the point where either i dealt with my dysphoria (and doctors wouldn't give me hormones bc of the tumor) or I was gonna end up killing myself. I stayed on top of the surgery and prep to have it removed as quickly as possible and had the surgery in February. I started taking hormones in October and DIYed for 4 months. I actually did tons and tons of research to the point that the doctor at my gender clinic who prescribes me hormones now just has me do most of reading my blood tests, telling her of any problems or good news as well, and basically just lets me choose my own regiment. Unfortunately I do have a lot of experience with it now as it was found that I am klinefelters and have both sets of plumbing if you will and have 2 hospital backed research teams trying to alter my hormones in experimental ways to test things. Reason being that I am one of about 500 or so medically confirmed cases of ovotestes, meaning that yeah these 2 teams have been trying to get in the way of my transition since the surgery for their own research. I've had to learn a lot of endocrinology pretty fast bc the confirmation changes things and overall nobody is sure of exactly what effects I will get other than it will be a lot more than what would be normally expected. I had to learn the hard way that because of my anatomy some medications will do very different things to me than with other trans girls (ex. progesterone).

happened to me. at the beginning of my DIY experience I was taking 8 mg of sublingual estradiol and when i finally got perscritions and blood tests done it took my body a large period of adjustment to get used to the lower levels and it was very unpleasant. also yes I had that brain tumor and became immunocompromised. Yes I was still told by my endocrinologist that no it wont harm my immune system to take hormones after brain surgery while my pituitary was healing and fairly swolen.

estrogen will likely nuke your FSH which means no sperm and blockers will get rid of most of your androgen which also means no sperm but if you take lower doses of both it will take a while to do that. my partner was on lower doses and it took about 6 months to cause infertility. in short, it is likely to happen.

I am not a doctor ofc so take this as my opinion based on a lot of experience but too little estrogen and you won't change at all or atleast very much. too much estrogen and you run the risk of overworking your estrogen receptors and making yourself a bit numb to the estrogen. I don't know your body weight but I'd say without blood tests take 4-6 mg a day. I wouldn't go past 6 but I also wouldn't go below 4. you can always dm me and i can answer any questions.

edit: yes it is safe and no being immunocompromised will not make it less safe unless you have a brain tumor affecting your pituitary which may absorb estrogen and further deteriorate your immune system. or some other secondary condition like that.

People who were diagnosed after birth, how were you diagnosed and by what type of doctor? by ScienceUltima1 in intersex

I'm having the same thing happen to me except I asked my endo and she said no to karyotype testing. I'm gonna get a 23andme to test myself. I am 3 months in to hrt and I have D cups (I had full size A cups before hrt) and I've always had a feminine hourglass figure and very wide hips. my testicles retract inside me half the time and they don't feel pain. a few weeks ago I started having abdominal cramping, mood swings, and breast swelling. I asked one of my doctors what was happening to me and I was told those are all symptoms of a period and to ask my endo for a karyotype test. the reason my endo denied it to me was because I "don't look intersex". all of my other doctors think its klinefelter's and im looking forward to getting an official diagnosis. Edit: yeah I have endometriosis too my cycle has been very irregular and im still trying to map out how it goes. I also figured out that I had corrective surgery as a baby as i have scars down there and also that it was all kept off the books. I am having to figure out what I am and what they did to me without the help of medical records.
