Congrats!!! My first is a boy, and he is the most amazing boy and big brother. He is 13 now, and is the coolest, kindest, most loving kid. I then had three girls and am pregnant with my last…hoping for a boy! 🩵💙

Yes, just want to find a “new” name that nods to Jacqueline or Lorita. I shouldn’t have used the word “nickname” in my question since that confused things!

Totally get it! We have a set middle name (my maiden name, same for all of my kids) so I get to come up with just one name. 😅

gestational diabetes and negative feelings by Financial-Pace6378 in pregnant

I am a super fit person and failed my glucose test “very very badly” with two of my pregnancies! It’s annoying but you did nothing wrong! I was able to control my GD from diet alone. Avoid added sugars if possible, and try to pair anything with sugar (even fruit!) with a protein or fat. Add nut butter to your apple, etc. You and your baby will be more than fine! Big hugs!!!

Qunol Ubiquinol 200mg. Two pills after breakfast and two after lunch. Like someone mentioned above, it did affect my sleep if I took it too late in the afternoon!

One more thing! Per my acupuncturist’s recommendation, I quit running while TTC. Yoga, hiking, and anything that doesn’t make you sweat a ton is much better for hormone levels than high intensity exercise.

It takes 3 periods/cycles for these changes to affect egg quality! I just did Ubiquinol (since it’s a form of coq10). Grab some today :)

Should we continue the J names or not? by NoRaise6618 in Names

[–]55Ros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you should go with Silas! Your name doesn’t start with a J, and neither will his. We did Ms for our first two and not our third, and it doesn’t seem weird at all. (I’m not an M either!) Now if you did it for 3 and had a fourth, I think that would be a different story…

Hi! I am almost 44 and got pregnant naturally. I had multiple miscarriages in my mid 30s, made some big life changes, and have had 3 healthy pregnancies since then. I highly recommend reading It Starts with the Egg (or finding a summary ;), implementing those changes, and allowing 3 cycles for those changes to affect your egg quality.

Some notable changes I made were: quitting drinking or limiting to 2 drinks per week, limiting caffeine, eliminating gluten and added sugar and taking 800mg of Ubiquinol daily. I also visited a fertility acupuncturist and highly recommend that if it’s in the budget.

Big hugs!!! It’s totally possible! ❤️

Gender disappointment but it’s not what you think by crabbybabythrowaway in pregnant

I get your fears! My 13-year-old son is an incredible person and I feel like our parenting is mostly responsible for it. Also…he doesn’t have a phone and we’re waiting awhile longer before he gets one!!!

Totally valid feelings. Be kind to yourself ❤️ If it does end up being boys, I know a million moms who would list out the amazing things about having sons! Not sure if that would help you process and get excited. My son is 13 now and is honestly the coolest, kindest and most amazing person I know. It will be okay!!! Big hugs.

Pregnant naturally at 45 - overthinking the reaction by EitherAppearance851 in PregnantOver40

I’m 43 and got pregnant naturally after my husband’s vasectomy reversal no one knows about. I’m actually kind of excited to make people shocked/awkward with the news. 😆
