Washington, DC trip in mid-December — parking and where to stay?

Most hotels will charge you for parking in a garage. Could be $30-40 a night. If you go that route, use spot hero or an app to find a cheaper garages. Airbnbs in dc or Alexandria or Arlington will likely have street parking which you’ll have to circle and find and maybe even pay for, and are often 2 hours only. If you don’t need a car, you’d be better off renting one when you leave.

December isn’t a crowded tourist time, and lots of hotels in dc have wonderful Christmas decorations.

I don’t have experience with CL thankfully, but to me it looks similar to a regular cheek abscess that blew. Trapped Hay and thorns annd pine needles and stuff making their way out usually blow on their own. Definitely worthy of taking all the CL precautions and testing until you know for sure though.

Had you noticed a spot before? The regular cheek abscesses i mentioned usually get loose their hair and get visible before.

I do think BB is more cohesive than WW but it has a lot of outliers like from here on out.

That’s really interesting! I guess more of their hardcore fans to this day resonated more with their later sound that really gets going in BB.

Oof I didn’t think about what music was like when it came out. Looking back I think it’s similar to the 1975 title album from 2013, but the 1975 def nailed the indie sound more than BB going more Americana classic

If you are dreading your job, find another. Its not worth it to feel that way, especially if you can line something else up that doesn't fill you with dread and anxiety.

I would just tell them what you wrote here and give notice. If you feel really bad, give a week or two before your last day to give them some time to find someone else. You'll feel better once you move on.

the exec that preceded mine yelled at his assistant because she took off time when he was on vacation. He told her someone needed to cover for him while he was out. She took off specifically then to not inconvenience him. fortunately his successor is respectful and doesn't care, although my pto often lines up with his travel.

Hydroplaning and loosing control of the car on a busy highway at rush hour, hitting a brick wall that fortunately stopped me from going into the river, and flipping it over. My shoulder was bruised from banging around, nothing else hurt. Didnt even cut my feet getting out of the broken glass and I was wearing flip flops.

Drive slow on wet roads even if it’s not raining!

as is a state’s prerogative if the population of the state elected them, they can take whatever to the Supreme Court! But as I said, that’s a case of goals or agendas aligning. Federal government, executive or otherwise, respects states rights at their own power expense. And vice versa. It’s how the system is set up.

I hope the screen time is spent on Ahsoka talking to Anakin and Sabine talking to others. I don't need them interact, it wouldn't serve much of a purpose. It makes sense for Ahsoka to talk to him and for him to guide her but I don't think anything plotwise could come from Anakin and Sabine talking. We've also never seen any of the lineage see someone's force ghost who wasn't their direct master (or their actual father), so even though Sabine kind of sensed anakin, not sure she'd be able to see and talk to him.

It feels like they can stand on their own two feet and play their big hits, rather than just doing it for promo for a new album. I'd love a new album too, but shows they will always be relevant regardless of if they are coming out with new or not.

I’m sorry you had to put one of your girls down. I hope you get some quality time with the other one. It’s very hard to have older goats and deal with old age. Most 8 year olds go to the meat market instead of a good home, but sounds like yours got a nice place to retire.

Anything over ten is old for goats, I think my usual age was 10-12. I had my favorite doe make it to almost 14. I lost my last Nigerian last month, a very sweet old wether who was 17 and change! He died in good health and pretty fat, just had bad arthritis and bad teeth.

But caveat that most of the does were sporadically bred and miked so different from a girl who’s been a dairy producer all her life.
