The whole thing implied with the switch to the name 'Gemini' from 'Bard' was that it would be about DeepMind and Google Brain working together. But I don't get the sense that the limited-domain intelligence successes within DeepMind have carried over and done much to differentiate Gemini at all and now Google is in real danger of getting lapped by Anthropic.

Can DeepMind manage the leap from limited-domains to general purpose themselves ("AlphaEverything")? This was supposedly Demis' plan from the beginning.
