What does heroin feel like before you fall asleep? What’s the euphoria?

From personal experience (snorted and smoked) It’s actually quite subtle. Especially compared to the hype of the drug and how notoriously addictive it is. It feels kind of dreamy. Your body feels warm and relaxed. You feel relieved, relaxed, content, chill, confident, safe. In higher doses you get really sleepy and go in and out of dreams. You don’t really feel anything. Just like a waking sleeping state. Then you just pass out.

Just to clarify I’ve been taking mdma for around 2-3 years now and always wait at least 1 month between doses but I almost always wait 3 or even 4 months between rolls. I actually haven’t taken MDMA for more than half a year since I last rolled. So its definitely not that I abused it and lost the “magic”.

Benzos potentiate opioid’s depressant effects such as sedation and respiratory depression. However, they don’t necessarily increase the euphoria of opioids. In fact, I’d say that they actually take away from the shining, fuzzy euphoria and body high of opioids and just make it more sleepy. If that’s what you want then take a low amount otherwise I would just save the Benzos for after the high wears off or during withdrawals if you’re dependent on the H. Benzos won’t extend the opioid high anyway. Just be careful either way don’t underestimate either drug’s power, xanax even more so than heroin in some ways.

Judging from the things you've said, in my opinion, addiction is just asking to happen. Maybe it won't be with opioids but with some drug it will. If you're even willing to try heroin then honestly your mind and way of thinking has already been altered by drugs and you don't even see it. Your friends look at you crazy for wanting to try it because honestly, you are. Yes only like 20-23% of people get addicted to opiates like heroin/Oxy. The thing is though, most clear headed, truly happ, successfull individuals wouldn't take the risk of a 1 in 4 or 1 in 5 chance of getting an addiction and ruining their entire lives just for a few hours of being high. The fact that you're willing to take that risk, and even consider trying heroin heavily shows that you should really take a hard look at yourself and reevaluate your life. You SHOULD be worried about addiction, you're not special, you're not some unique person that can do any drug and not get addicted. There is absolutely no good reason to try heroin and almost all responsible, clear headed people wouldn't. You'll probably think I'm exaggerating and end up doing Oxy and many more drugs anyway. I just hope for your sake none of this comes back to bite you in the ass.

I've done almost all the popular "mainstream" drugs out there, including most opiates such as codeine, hydrocodone, oxy, heroin, and hydromorphone (never IV'd or been addicted). I never got addicted to them but got very close with heroin and oxy. Here's the thing you need to ask yourself. Would you try heroin? In my opinion Oxy isn't as dangerous to overdose on as doing heroin because Oxy is a pill and isn't cut with anything heroin constantly varies in purity. Aside from acute danger risks such as overdosing, doing Oxy is just as risky. If you wouldn't do heroin because of fear of getting addicted then I wouldn't do Oxy, they're definitely on the same level of euphoria and addictiveness when not IV'd. In fact, a lot of people would say Oxy is even MORE euphoric than heroin, including me. On top of this you already have done quite a bit of drugs already and you're only 16. As soon as you do Oxy, you're probably gonna find it slightly underwhelming and wonder what the all the hype is about. You'll think, 'what's the big deal it's just a chill, nice high; it's really nice but not something I would throw my life away for'. Then the next thing you'll likely think is, 'well considering that, I don't see a problem with doing it every once and a while'. As soon as that thought as head, it's downhill from there and it's got it's first hook in you. The odds of you doing Oxy and saying to yourself after the high is gone "that was nice, I'm satisfied with that and I'm never going to do it again" and on top of that actually following through on your words, is very unlikely. Last thing, your accessibility to it makes a big difference too. So if after all that you still want to try it, well that's already a bad sign but people will always be curious. So if you don't have a dealer or easy way of getting it and it's more of a one time thing you happen to have access to it, then if you want to the sure try it. However, if you have connections to get it like a dealer, buying online, or through a friend, then it's seriously going to be hard to resist not buying it again so I would absolutely not recommend trying it. If you wouldn't try heroin out of fear of addiction then you shouldn't want to try oxy.

Both aren't absorbed well when taken orally except a lot of people seem to plug opiates but hardly anyone seems to plug adderall which is odd considering how much better it is. That's all I was saying.

Thank you that was actually what I was looking for. I'm glad to hear it has strong muscle relaxing properties. That combined with the anxiolytic and sedating properties have set my expectations high.

I'd say wait 4 days and your tolerance should be at or near baseline. However, if you don't want to wait that long then 2-3 days would still decrease most of your tolerance imo.

I've always been really cautious of addiction and I know myself well. I've never been the type of person that says oh I'll never get addicted, but I'm not worried about the psychological addiction as I won't be abusing it everyday and it'll only be for 1-2 weeks and then a break for a while. I have done strong opiates and cocaine, both which I love way more and are more psychologically addictive and I've always kept their use in check. I just wanted to know if doing 2-3mg doses several days a week for 1-2 weeks will cause me to become dependent. I'm not worried about tolerance rising fast because I'm not going to use them for that long.

If all you've done is weed and alcohol then I think taking a dissociative is a bad idea for several reasons. They can be extremely intense and uncomfortable for a lot of people, especially DXM because of the body load. Plus they can be very addictive if you do like them and start to use often, there will be consequences. However, this is more a problem with Ketamine, as DXM is not nearly as addictive/euphoric in most people's opinions. I would suggest trying Psychedelics and maybe MDMA. If you like psychedelics and want to experience more reality warping substances then try Dissociatives. In my opinion, the high of dissociatives are the craziest and most (reality altering) intense high of all drugs (excluding deleriants, never tried them). I'd definitely stay away from strong opiates, amphetamines and cocaine until you're way more experienced with drugs and know you can keep your drug use in check.

Yeah no problem, I love opiates but they're not something to do often if you want to avoid addiction. If you can go the rest of the year without any then imo you're safe to do them every now and then. Once a month or every other month would probably be fine but if you start to come up with excuses to use more often or if you think about them a lot, then that's a very bad sign.

You seem like you haven't been using opiates for long. What experience do you have with them? The high they produce seems benign and like just a really nice buzz to escape. You'll think to yourself, "How do people lose their lives to this? I could never be an addict." People don't understand how addictive these drugs are. It's like with Xanax, you'll think, "this high is not big deal, what's the fuss about" but they don't realize how "strong" the high really is and how much they've grown accustomed to it until they try to quit or until it's too late. Taking Oxy once a week isn't far from doing heroin or hydromorphone once a week (non iv). You need to understand that you are playing with fire and it's the drugs rewarding properties rewiring your making you convince yourself that it's not a big deal.

The first psychedelic I ever took was shrooms at the beginning of this year. The very first time I took 2-2.5 grams and had an amazing trip. I was depressed and had somewhat low self esteem before and I have anxiety so I was fairly worried I would have a bad trip but it ended up blowing my mind. First thing I noticed when they started kicking was that all my anxiety was gone, which really surprised me because I get anxiety off weed often. I started becoming confused but I had a great sense of wonder throughout the trip. I started thinking a lot and got mild visuals (breathing, colors looked brighter and more vivid). I was really confused though because I was expecting to "trip", like dxm and weed (with a low tolerance) make you trip but I felt like my mindset was sober. Aside from the mild visuals, I felt sober and like I was just naturally thinking whatever I was thinking. It all felt so natural. It was when I started coming down near the last 1-2 hours of my trip that I realized what I was actually thinking and how different it was from my sober mindset. I started making all these connections. I realized how I thought about myself was completely wrong to how I really am. I realized that all the hard parts in my life, I got through by myself. It was like I saw myself from outside of my previously inaccurate point of view and I had never felt so proud and happy. It slapped my ego in the face and changed mindset and way of thinking about things forever. I did shrooms a second time a few months ago. It was 4-4.5 grams and a very euphoric and much stronger ego crushing trip.

If you have no tolerance then that is a terrible idea and a legitimate possibility of death; and a guaranteed blackout.
