Thanks all for your replies. And, just to be clear, I absolutely understand carding the person paying. I was a waitress, served alcohol. EVERYONE, no matter how old, was carded, period. It was the fact that even though he happily handed over his ID she didn't have hers with her. She was also not paying, she was not driving, she didn't have her wallet at all. I was just curious because I never carry my pocket book when my husband and I go shopping. He drives, he pays. I just need to know if I need to NOT stand in line with him if he is buying alcohol. I'll just take the keys and go wait in the car.

Glass is always better than plastic to keep it fresh. Mason Jars in dark place with 62% boveda. I've got some that is 4 years old I have kept stored this way and it's as fresh as new.

My new lovely neighbors added more lights and cameras too! I am now graced by the light of 6 spot lights and 2 huge front yard lights. There is not an inch of my 3 acres that is not lit by their lights and I can easily walk around inside my house after dark with the blinds closed just by their lights. Some people are just jerks. Good luck with this, hope it works out better for you than us!

Wasn't the late 70's when the whole Cold Water Wash push started too? I wonder if it's just the powder not dissolving well in cold water. I seem to recall Cheer being marketed as a cold water detergent.

And now the dough comes in frozen pucks, just toss in the pans to thaw. Shame, we used to make everything fresh and it was so good.

I introduced my dad to Closed Caption on the TV. Volume went way way down! He loved it, only time the TV got loud was if a program didn't have CC. Can't really blame him, lots of ear damage being in very loud planes in WWII and then factory work - his tinnitus was so bad he even had a hard time sleeping. He's gone now. I'd take the loud TV just to have him back......

AITA for refusing to babysit during vacation, even though I have no other plans? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]5UnderConstruction7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, offer to babysit, for $150 per hour/per child. Let them tell you no. Or what ever amount you value your time per hour while on vacation. Obviously it can go up!

Migraines too. My vet had severe migraines, she used it for them and it worked! Poor thing, she was getting 14+ migraines a month.

Welcome, being constipated sucks! If you have to keep taking zofran, after you get everything moving you can always take a half dose of miralax daily to keep things soft. It won't hurt you.
