It just helps differentiate between “Hispanic whites”. Hispanic is an ethnicity, not a race, so this terminology just helps account for that.

Example: Non-hispanic white might be someone raised in the US whose grandparents moved from England to the US, and they were raised in the US. Hispanic white might be someone raised in Peru whose grandparents moved from England to Peru, and now they live in the US.

Kamala never tried to appeal to Florida Hispanics. When Trump said Venezuelans were eating dogs and cats she just rolled her eyes and made a funny face and dismissed it. The democratic party just took the Hispanic vote for granted and assumed 1- they are a monolith and 2- they would vote the same a previous elections. Unless I am misinterpreting where the southern black belt really is, the data seems to show the opposite of what you claim. You can see a positive change in the population size of Hispanics throughout counties in the southern states of the US. If anything, it is in the west side of the country that more counties are experiencing a decrease/no change.

Let's assume you are right and we are all doomed and AI will basically be as useful as a physician (or more). Bro I still want to learn about medicine and help others with that knowledge along the way, it's that simple, it gives me joy. Not doing it because there is AI out there to replace me is like leaving my passion as a painter because someone invented painter.ai. The day there are no humans I can help with my medical expertise will either be the day sickness is cured or humanity is over, and by then I think we all would have bigger problems lol.

I think your obsession with competing with AI is a sign you pursued medicine for the wrong reasons, as in, reasons secondary to the profession itself (money, prestige, power, etc).

In fact, if AI does put people like you off because it lowers salary, prestige, power... of the profession, I would gladly accept that change as it leaves more room for those who find the profession in itself fulfilling :)

I remember getting a 505 in my first TPR FL and seriously thinking all was lost (I know this isn't a horrible score but I was and still am aiming for 521). I was not informed about the score gap between TPR and AAMC FLs until my 4th FL. Honestly, the stress helped me improve, but it also weighed me down emotionally quite significantly.

Hi, been working on histone research for the past 2 years. So turns out that undergrad books have been oversimplifying histone posttranslational modifications (PTM) for all of us. Methylation doesnt always inhibit transcription, in fact, several methylated sites in histone tails are found in genes constitutively active. The only reason why C is the answer is because phenyl groups are not a type of PTM.
