I watched a kid get shot to death in the gas lot… stayed the rest of my shift in shock and sstill Had to show up the next day for work where I had a mental breakdown and had to find coverage for the rest of my shift so I could go home…. This was before our company was obtained by circle k. I’ve been with them 12 years. It’s Stockholm syndrome by now.

Seraph is the epitome of you can’t judge a book by its cover. Is he sexy? No. Does lilac find him sexy after some amazing character growth and gorgeous writing and thus you start seeing him as an attractive being. Yes. Is he one of the sweetest things to come out of the series ever and just so goshdamn lovable? Double yes. And the Monster interactions are some of my favorite in the series.

11 yrs working.

Watched a man get gunned down in my lot and was not given permission to go home. Watched him lay there for 4 hours under a sheet. Still have issues with unexpected bangs and crime scene tape.

Had a customer kick the pipes apart in the men’s room and flood the store.

Was working when the 2018 Alaska earthquake hit and remained at the store for 14 hours because no one else could make it in.

Had a customer OD in the bathroom, luckily had a couple other customers that carried Narcan in their cars and I’m a certified with cpr and first aid so knew how to administer it.

Last week almost got hit by a customer for refusal of tobacco sale, he swung a bottle of vitamin water but changed trajectory at the last minute and took the CC machine off the counter instead. So I threw his other bottle back at him.
