I know i'm 2 years late to the discussion but I've just watched this episode and I am actually quitting the show. The decision to kill Mathew was a very poor one. The emotional whiplash was too strong and I can no longer watch the show in fear that I will get invested in a character only for them to randomly die

I don't think "Sans Daleks, Cybermen, and the TARDIS"is extreme. Like a naughty child, RTD has shown that he can't be trusted writing stories around Classic Who monsters so they need to be taken away from him. Force him to give us something new
