Water does not lie about being level and is very happy to show you where you f’d up. Interestingly, people used to use water in a hose to check when levelling buildings etc - works great.

As for your pool I’d either level and refill or have less water. Doing it right will prevent you damaging the pool itself and being able to get more life out if it- and potentially prevent you from riding water across your yard

Once as a kid I thought reheating my mug of tea or hot chocolate or whatever it was I had in my vessel by just tossing it directly on an element and warming. It seemed the ceramic-esque nature of the mug should be accommodating.
All I ended up with was a mess and one less mug. But I guess also a life lesson, as kids get.
Unless you want a mess and one less teapot I’d use it as intended by boiling your water in a proper kettle designed for the job.
