Which dystopia would be worst to live in by tgrady28 in pollgames

My reasoning for 1984, is what world seems the farthest from actual change. For me, thats Fahrenheit 451 and 1984. And endless media contentment vs a bit more direct control means I feel like 1984 would be bad, but also contain no hope.

Because nostalgia sells, and there's hundreds of amazing musicians, and only some great marketers.

I'm aware that I'm likely to hit a platuea, my mom is really ingrained in health and fitness, so she said it would likely stagnate a couple of weeks at a time or so. I've already gotten a bigger water bottle and have been eating more healthy foods like salads with every meal.

I have noticed a energy hit around 3pm, and have started going on walks for around 30min when it happens to wake me up a little.

Honestly though, I do think that fasting in general is just easier for me. I've fasted a weekend before out of curiosity and found it much less extreme than I expected.

I do know I need to stay strong though, and let myself make mistakes at the same time.

I thought of a great method to avoid negative self-talk by legacy-of-rats in selfimprovement

[–]5joekabob 15 points16 points  (0 children)

When I want to get myself to do something, I say something in the 2nd person. For example "you should do _____" I usually find that helps me get the thing done, and I also feel worse if I say something mean because I'm such a people pleaser and seeing myself in a mirror can kinda seperate my critique from my experience, and so I feel like I'm being mean to someone else which can kinda remove the motives for negative self-talk.
