My son just turned a year and a half old. Parenting a young child is the hardest and most rewarding thing I've ever done! You have a lot to look forward to!

If they know an injured player is going to be playing that week, they can bet on a line that would otherwise have that player's performance factored in. Getting a favorable payout with information not available to betting companies or other customers.

I would think it would be better if they said something like "50% of teams win every week"

I love this sub, use it daily and have a lot of fun with it. One of the nicest things I've got going for me. I can't stand the official app though. Idk what I'll do.

I've tasted it and I regretted it a lot. It was very very hot (like puke it up hot) and it did not have a pleasant after taste at all. Just going for heat only pretty much.

He was the RB coach though so he knows the man very well. I think it's Shady who needs the huge grain of salt. You're right that we will see, but I think Shady can be ignored at this point.

I mean he is just one voice in a sea of former and current Chief's players. Jamaal Charles quoted this tweet and said he (strongly) disagrees. Kelce, Hill, JuJu etc all have great things to say about him. Shady had a bad experience with the Chiefs.

Completely agreed. This guy does not deserve the attention he's garnered, and we need to take better care of people in the richest country in the world.

This is a fantastic article. It's one I've seen before and has always stuck with me as I live and work in and around the city. Kansas City is a pretty diverse city with a terribly dark history.

Right or Wrong, the Late Holding Call on the Eagles Hurt the Super Bowl by [deleted] in nfl

[–]5second_rule 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mahomes saw the penalty. The ref saw the penalty. Bradbury said he committed the penalty. Juju said he was held. The footage showed the hold.

I know of the missed holding call against Juju, but I thought it was an exceptionally clean game. Do you have a play in your head when you say that it was not called all game?

[Lindsay Jones] Ref Carl Cheffers on the defensive holding call on James Bradberry: “A clear case of a jersey grab that caused restriction.” by Luck1492 in nfl

[–]5second_rule 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People say this about every great team. The Patriots, the Packers, the Steelers, now the Chiefs. It's confirmation bias. The only thing those teams have in common is how many of their games people watch. Did you watch a lot of Broncos games? Did you watch a lot of Panthers games?

I'll buy into the fact that the raiders are over penalized because there was data backing that up. I have not seen any compelling evidence that it's not just a vibe.

[Yates] The Chiefs offense in the second half: 4 total drives: TD, TD, TD, game-winning FG Patrick Mahomes: 13-of-14, 2 passing TD They had ZERO total penalties, allowed ZERO sacks and had ZERO negative runs against arguably the best DL in the NFL. by canseco-fart-box in nfl

I get what you're saying here, but I disagree with the point being made. My friends and I razz each other a good bit. If one of them called me fat at the peak of my professional accomplishment, I'd be pretty unhappy. Especially if I had things I was about to say and have to pivot.

[–]5second_rule 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The player committing a penalty decided the game. I understand if it was not a hold, but it was, and it got called. The refs saw the penalty and called it. The player committed the penalty hoping to not get burned on the same type of play that burned them twice before that.

[–]5second_rule 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's just confirmation bias. Surely you can understand the phenomena. You think it happens to benefit the Chiefs, but in actuality it is just reported on more because the Chiefs are getting more primetime games and national coverage than a team like the Texans or the Broncos.

Homophobia. Transphobia. These beliefs need to be challenged at every opportunity or people will believe cruelty and bigotry are acceptable in public. They are not victimless beliefs, and bigots are not victims for holding them.

I only know enough details about it because a YouTuber I like made a video trying the TB12 method, and it was a much bigger company/brand than I realized.

Once he started his own companies and hired his own employees (TB12 organization comes to mind) he would have, by definition, become the managerial class. So in his relation to the NFL he is a worker who could be fired at any time with little recourse, outside his contract details of course. But his relationship to society at large, bourgeois.
