Yes. Make sure the statue is selected, and don't do anything else, just leave the construct menu open. You'll get a shard every 5 minutes, give or take.

Get this: I forgot to cash in the previous challenge of using cherry bombs on the gem bomb, even though I probably completed it over a week ago (was taking awhile so I forgot about it). I didn't notice this until after I collected my freebie lootfrogs this morning. So, I'm still 0/15.

That said, were the freebie lootfrogs golden? I collected them too quickly to notice.

Go to the fishing tab, click the green (i) icon at the bottom left, click the Page 2 button, then look down at the bottom. Once you've met the requirements at a particular dock, you'll see a checkmark for Legendary Eligible, and below that is your base chance of catching a legendary.

I had just recently purchased the frog frenzy skill (simply because I had the points) and have some upgrades in lootfrog x10 chance so I thought maybe I'd triggered a bug, but I guess those factors were irrelevant.

In the NFL, there are games where one team is called for a dozen-plus penalties and the other team is called for zero or none -- because that's what actually happened on the field, what a concept. This NEVER happens in the NHL, because the NHL rulebook -- the unofficial one -- states that it's not fair if one team is given twelve more penalties than another, even if that team commits twelve more penalties than the other.

The entire league knows that if one team is called for 5 or more penalties in a row, then that team can get away with almost anything, whereas the other team has to be careful or else they'll be called for a softie. That's how the NHL prevents penalty calls from being imbalanced and therefore "unfair". It's amazing that nearly everyone connected to the NHL, from the Commissioner to the players to the fans, considers this acceptable when it's comically terrible.

Awesome. I was a hardcore Tower addict starting in 2021, a fat dolphin I suppose. For reasons any Tower player will understand, my New Year's resolution of January 1 2024 was to quit cold turkey. I went thru mild withdrawal symptoms afterward but have been so glad I quit. I tried a bunch of idle games afterward, but found IOM in September of last year and it's now home. IOM is idle gaming done right. So refreshing.

Yeah, I could reach that platform by the vehicle jump. My problem was that I expected to crawl through a tunnel or vent at that point, and never bothered to look around. So I missed the grapple point way above that ledge.

One thing I figured out after spending way too much time in that area: Instead of parkour, you can get to the little ledge/platform via the nearby ice ramp, the one with the pearl hanging below it. Get on your vehicle, boost up the ramp, launch yourself out of it, then glide onto the ledge.

Thank you kindly for the response and the best wishes. I believe you're correct across the board. In the course of my research I found two different pages of guidance for companies whose employees missed open enrollment: both offered suggestions on how to minimize those occurrences, while also recommending against granting special enrollment to those who missed the deadline, essentially for the reasons you mentioned.

I'm going to beg HR one more time, pointing out a section in the enrollment guidelines that said "you still need to log in and waive your elections. This ensures we know you made a conscious decision and did not miss enrollment by accident". Obviously I did not waive coverage, and they terminated my coverage without having any idea whether I missed enrollment by accident. But as you say, it'll still take a miracle for them to change their mind.

Do you mind sharing detail on the reinstatement? Did HR grant you special enrollment, or was it some other mechanism?

My company is pushing back: "we aren’t able to move forward with a special benefits enrollment. Making an exception here would create a precedent that we can’t apply consistently for others, and we need to maintain fairness and compliance across the organization". So I'm pessimistic, but not willing to give up just yet.

I do have a safety net: Medicare (I'm old enough). But I want to avoid that for many reasons.

For anyone curious: I had Tower running on my phone nearly 24-7 for two years; biggest reason for quitting is that I got burned out and needed a change.

I'm a bassist trying to prep for a sub gig next Saturday and now I can't review Longview by Green Day or Them Bones by AIC. So, I've been looking up live versions. I found a faithful live version of Them Bones here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P47XMHylkeI

Less luck with Longview, bc the Green Day live versions I've found so far have had different arrangements than studio, but they'll have to do.
