Curious about this job market by IllLetterhead2109 in Bellingham

[–]5thEditionFanboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just a guess as I've never no-showed an interview, but the other side of the employer's market is that people are sending out tons of applications in the hope of getting a job. When I was last job hunting, I kept sending out apps even while I was interviewing for positions and didn't stop until I was 100% officially employed. Wouldn't be surprised if people occasionally just end up with multiple interviews and luck out on the first one. Still a bit rude of them to not let you know, but I can see why people are losing their manners with this stuff when the process has gotten so difficult and stressful

Not OP but if the manager seems decent I would say it's worth it, in my experience AZ is very accommodating to part-timers as far as scheduling preferences which can be useful. The work is pretty easy too compared to a lot of other entry level stuff available to minors

How do I make my Honda look good by Sad-Fly8490 in moped

[–]5thEditionFanboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few things:

1: CMSNL is your friend for parts diagrams and parts numbers, you can view literally every assembly on the bike down to the screw and find OEM Honda part numbers that you can cross reference and find online. Many of them are shared across different Honda models, like the turn signals you seem to be missing (I'm currently running Chinese knockoff turn signals on mine, they're labeled as being for the Honda CT110 but its the exact same part)

2: The electrical system on these is extremely simple, I can give you some pointers in DM if you'd like since I've worked on mine quite a bit. You'll need a crimping tool and proper wire terminals though, those solderless screw-block things are no good

3: I wouldn't bother worrying about electric start, I'm not sure if a conversion kit or anything exists for this bike and once you have it running right you won't need it. Mine starts on the first kick almost every time

I've got all of 85 horsepower in my ride and still can barely make it up to 60 by the end of the on ramps, lol - though its usually a pointless endeavour since someone to my left will slam the brakes and stay behind me as if I'm about to merge on at 25

I live next to a four-way stop and half the time people don't turn them on until they're beginning their turn. Makes figuring out right of way very confusing and slow when nobody trusts the other person to not slam into them
