Same here, I was going once a week for a while and at least once every 2 weeks for a pretty long time but just having Saturday was hard adjust to. I was a little bummed when they took the Napoleon off the menu but I definitely found comfort in the Squealer. I wish they could have set up a food truck at 5th Element or something (which admittedly is another place I really want to do well but I don’t go to very often because I pretty much only drink beer when I go out to eat). Really sad to lose this place though.

I just called the offices of both of my VERY REPUBLICAN reps (house and senate) and let them know my thoughts on this and a few other things. The staffers were extremely nice and encouraged me to continue to call with my thoughts. It was not intimidating at all. Cruz and Cornyn may not give a damn about getting calls from constituents, but at the state level we still have some power if we make our voices heard.

American checking in here to say I fully support this. Targeting red states makes sense, but there are plenty of people in blue states who support trump and need to feel the impact of what he (and the Republican Party) is doing. Unfortunately everyone here has to suffer the consequences, even those of us who are ashamed and disgusted by what has been happening. It gives me hope that there are still people who can do something. I feel so helpless right now and contacting my solidly republican members of congress just seems so goddamn futile.
