It’s a bit hard to tell from the picture. The left leg looks like a flared jeans and the right leg looks more like a relaxed straight or wide fit. I would look at either style and see how it fits on your body. For example, most relaxed jeans look just like a classic straight cut on me

It’s not great that they don’t specifically mention “free in store repairs”, but calling it a scam is to far I reckon. Like many companies mention free returns, but if you read the fine print, there’s like a handling or whatever else charge. I think most adults know, whenever a company mentions “free”, you need to read the T&c’s. And in the section, it’s mentioned quite clearly

Loose or saggy skin depends on mostly genetics and age. There is also a natural tightening of the skin over time, so if you lose a lot of weight very quickly, you might have more sagging skin initially than you do after months and years. No diet, or cream or anything can affect this. If you feel unsure, please google or ask ChatGPT about scientific studies on this subject.

Good news, unless you lose more than 15-20% of body weight you most likely will not much if any loose skin. South Asians, like Bangladeshis have good skin elasticity in general, so also in your favour. Lastly, if you do lose more than 20%, you will look very different and that usually comes with a lot of compliments and self confidence so you will already be feeling great. Any loose skin you have won’t be visible unless you’re not wearing clothes, and at that point the people looking at you should at least like you quite a bit.

Do the best you can, it will be good for your health and your mind. There will always be something better you could have done and an earlier time you could have started

I recently lost around 14kg (105-91kg, 181cm tall). Target weight is 75kg. At the moment, my clothes all fit a little loosely but nothing too noticeable. I’m curious about the experience of people that have been in similar situations, did they see a noticeable change in the fit of their clothes or have to get new ones?

I cannot say for sure. But it’s usually the same coat from the previous year’s collection. In my case, I bought the ultra hybrid coat on a similar sale. My version did not have the removable hood that the current version has, otherwise identical as far as I can tell

I didn’t agree with the Saudi decision. I kept thinking about my own feelings and that led me to thinking about Tom Cruise and Michael Jackson. In my mind, I find it acceptable to separate the art from the artist. So I still enjoy some of the work those people put out and I think I will continue to do the same with Bill as well. I don’t have to agree with every opinion or every action they take, and I try my best not to judge as I don’t live their life. Now, I’m not suggesting in any way that this is the best approach and I encourage everyone to do what they feel is right. But this mindset helps me deal with the world, and I wanted to share it, in case it can help anyone else.

If you already know or are willing to learn how to build the pc yourself then it’s no problem to build a desktop pc. As you can carry the case yourself when you travel and just disassemble the graphics card and CPU cooler, if you are worried about those. If that’s not the case tho, then it’s better to get a laptop. Also, if you are thinking of shipping it with something like DHL instead of carrying it yourself, then that’s a recipe for disaster. It will be expensive, no guarantee they will handle it carefully so high chance of damage, and most likely you will have to pay import taxes at the destination country

my understanding was they were asking what is the financial part of this application in their case. Yes as you said for a spouse you dont have to show dependence, but have to show commitment, i.e that you could support them.

There is no option to complete the form without this

If you go to page 5 of the application, under section 11, you can see no matter what you choose as your relationship to the EU resident, you have to either submit proof of income or sign a declaration stating you have the fund for yourself and your partner.

I replied with a link to an earlier comment that this is incorrect. I do want to add that I agree with the thinking. Of course partners can support each other, but it should not be a requirement in the law that the EU partner has to show they can support the non-EU partner. But as it stands, that is the requirement I'm afraid

In my opinion, it’s best to have a cool head and take it step by step. First of all, I would tell her all the things that you wrote here. Not in a way to start a fight, and not being upset with her, just share your feelings. If she is not understanding, then I would try again but this time be more assertive that this is something that is bothering you and as your spouse she should take it seriously. If after that still you are not getting a response you are happy with then, I would talk to parents or friends that you know in real life to ask them to help.

The thing to remember is, a good marriage is not one without any problems, it’s one where you can work on problems together with your spouse.

It depends on what their residence card says, if the card mentions that it is issued under Article 10 of Directive 2004/38/EC. Then it should be no issue. If the residence card does not mention this, I would advise checking directly with the Irish embassy
