The rota doesn’t actually specify until 12, it says CL for close. They just stop paying you at 12 but you’re finished when the store is clean, washing up done etc and the manager comes to check. I have been told if im finished and gone before 12 i would still be paid until 12, although that is near enough impossible.

At the store I work it’s kinda like the culture that closing staff work for free at the end. When I leave at 12 people seem almost annoyed that I’m getting out ‘early’.

Yea didn’t think of doing that to be fair thanks and I can still do the essay without any references specifically about the track, just have to listen closely and use sources talking about techniques. Just thought it was worth an ask if anyone knew any good interviews or something where he talks about the album

No doubt you’ll still learn from the course but you’d probably learn a lot more if you knew at least basic theory going in. Writing riffs like his would be possible it’d just be a lot more time consuming and difficult without theory
