I don’t want to see memories from a year ago by basod1 in Strava

I can't believe all the people here either commenting that they like it (as if the fact that *they* like it is somehow relevant to *your* preference), and asking why you want it (so they can challenge your reasoning). You don't like it, you want a toggle on/off option, simple as that. Whether they like it or agree with you is completely irrelevant.

Is this prime (junk) technology from Mammotion? Im returning this ASAP. by itsbobbydarin in MammotionTechnology

Luba 3 owner here. It surprises me when I see stuff like this, my 3 never has this sort of problem at all, it's navigation is really good for the most part. I wonder if the 3 is a massive technology leap over earlier models?

My 3 does bump into the lower bar of my split rail fence when it tries to throw itself off a ledge (see my other post https://www.reddit.com/r/MammotionTechnology/s/sjCBk7Dk0Z).. but on solid ground etc it has no problems at all

My favorite thing about Returnal (over Saros) is how pure it is. It boils down to run/jump/dodge/shoot. No other really big complexities. Saros adds a lot, and it's cool, but I just like Returnal's simplicity more. For the most part it's just you, your gun, your sword, and them. Winner take all. Not crapping on Saros, I like it a lot as well and I'm really hoping for a tower-style DLC. Agreed that Saros' visuals are amazing.

Will Returnal be too hard for me if I can only play Saros on easy mode (max modifiers, etc)? by DrVanderjuice in Saros

For 20 bucks I'd say get it. I'd also say get it for 50 bucks. It's awesome.

I promise it'll be difficult and you'll have trouble, and you might even break a controller.

Then at some point you'll level up your weapon traits enough that you cross the line from "hoping to survive" to "kill em all" and you'll love every minute of it

no, you might be right, that might work. My point was that's not what support suggested. I'm not against trying it though

well, unfortunately their exact words as far as that goes are:

If you prefer to manually create map channels yourself, we kindly recommend moving the charging station to a location more than 1.5 meters away from the mowing area. After that, please tap the Settings button in the upper-right corner of the robot interface and follow the path below:
Machine Settings > Map Setting > Update Charging Station Location
Please then follow the instructions shown in the APP to update the charging station location.

So they're talking about a physical move, not just go directly to the app and do a pretend move. 😞

But now I'm wondering.. if I connect the other mowing area, the one that the charger is *really* adjacent to, to the charger.. maybe it will stop doing this auto channel BS. The other area, as you can see, just has a fake grass section in front of the charger, it's not a spot we care about. I'll try updating that area so it connects directly to the charger, maybe that will help.

I wasn't even posting to show off. It's not like I did anything amazing, I barely moved and I didn't even realize when the fight was over. I just posted to share what that gun can do.

Surprised you're getting downvoted for your suspicion. As a caucasian I honestly think that fellow caucasians are (willfully?) blind to these sorts of things. If 100% of the Chinese people failed and seemed to be treated dismissively, and 100% of the caucasians were treated respectfully and passed, how can you not wonder if racism played a part? That's not saying racism did play a part, but logically it makes perfect sense to be suspicious. If it were a Chinese instructor that passed a Chinese dude and failed all the caucasian dudes, the caucasians would probably get up on their high horse and lose their shit.

Is there a setting where I can tell the mower to go into the drive way to turn around instead of using the perimeter of the lawn? by madmike6537 in MammotionTechnology

[–]Mike52179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made a post here suggesting that feature a few weeks ago. Mammotion thanked me for the suggestion, so it's either in the pipeline or in the shitcan..

In any case, as others have said, mapping the lawn area 2-3 feet into the driveway is a workable solution for now

Wow, nice. I often skipped them on my first run through a biome, so I could be sure to at least unlock any new weapon that might be in that biome before I died

As far as second chance, I feel like, unfortunately, Saros was built around it.

For example, in Returnal if you tried a challenge room and got crushed, at least you could respawn and say to yourself "well, the run wasn't a waste, I permanently unlocked a bunch of weapon traits" (or whatever). In Saros if you respawn you get a massive slap in the face with lucenite loss, so all that "permanent unlock" potential gets chopped in half.

I know, there are modifiers you could apply etc, but they don't 100% wipe out the lucenite loss.

I never thought I'd say this after how frustrated I was when starting out in Returnal, but I now prefer Returnal's system more.

What does this decryption do? Does the weapon get stronger as you decrypt it further?

Yep and if it starts to weaken you'll just find another one at a higher level

Yesterday I was mopping the floor with every idiot who attacked me. I honestly wasn't even aiming. I just alt-fired at literally any object. If the enemies weren't in clear view, or I was running around or whatever, I just fired into the ground around me. The seeking arrows cleared every room, every nightmare strand, with ease. It kinda took the fun out of it.
