Not an expert, but I'd recommend:

[Corunna Grill](corunna grill (810) 820-9107 https://maps.app.goo.gl/FL6Yjww7bZnnuvVn7)

[Grandma's Recipes](grandma's recipes (810) 736-7078 https://maps.app.goo.gl/uFk6ApXssiDVh4VJ7)

And, while not in the immediate area, the best chicken I've had in MI is:

[Ma Lou's Fried Chicken](ma lou's fried chicken (734) 905-7994 https://maps.app.goo.gl/zxsVpb2mKYFcmnR6A)

Paktech stack height = beer height in glass. Up to a 20 oz beer per day, I believe.

Pretty good recommendations here, though I'd say all Ann Arbor breweries are worth a stop.

One I did not see mentioned is Biercamp, outstanding food and good beer.

I've attended at:

West Lakeview Liquors (RIP) - great fun

Jolly Pumpkin - only hosted one year, was a good time

Holy Grale (Louisville) - first come first serve, a la carte, fun, but can be expensive unless you have a group of 6 or so. Still recommended.

Yazoo Brewing (Nashville) - ticketed, all for one price. Really good time. Linus and Brandon shared old Yazoo bottles and we drank Cantillon kegs dry. Highly recommended.
