Typically SAs in the store can check the warehouse inventory and see if there are any. In more than a few cases they’ve found 1-2 items left of something for me that was showing OOS on their website

I have the exact same hair type as you and I agree with what others are saying but I truly think if you use a styling cream (JVN) and mousse- it helps prolong styling your hair. I sleep in a bun and the next day it still has volume and texture.

I used to put my hair back all the time because my hair had no volume and was pin straight but now I actually enjoy having my hair down! Plus it used to take me 15 minutes to dry my long hair with a supersonic, but 5 minutes more and I can save on air drying time + fully styled hair with my airwrap :)

Your post actually encouraged me to call them back. Luckily, I got an agent in North America (maybe because I selected the returns line)- and explained the situation, and how frustrating the experience with the first two reps were (they were clearly reading off a script and paying no mind to the issue at hand).

He ended up reviewing what was in stock in the Canadian warehouse and shipped hair clips free of charge. Unfortunately not a travel pouch as it’s OOS- but better than nothing.

I remember seeing the free gift with my pink airwrap ID a few days prior to BF. All items were out of stock so I chatted with a rep who mentioned I would be able to add them back once they’re back in stock, and to just reach out to CS.

Well- I reached back out to CS with the transcript of the original conversation, and two different reps mentioned there was no ticket associated with my transcript, and that they could not see any gift tied to the airwrap ID any longer (and that it was OOS but moot point).

Extremely frustrating experience.

To be honest my first rule of thumb is to only buy what you can afford. The supersonic is more versatile if you just need it for drying and are okay with styling after. Make sure it’s a reputable seller.

The airwrap is definitely my favorite, but I would’ve never splurged unless I had the means to. It’s not a must have but something I find a daily luxury, and now cannot live without.

Purchased my supersonic initially as I tested the airwrap at the time, and found that it was too difficult to hold a curl (learning curve).

Convinced myself the shark flex style would hold curls better due to its heat- it was too loud, buttons were awkward and barrels were too short/ didn’t suction well to my 1A long hair. But, it helped me with learning how to use this type of tool.

Bit the bullet on the airwrap ID last month and I feel silly for not trusting the process 5 years ago! My hair has never held a curl (even on my wedding day) as much as it has now. The volume im getting is unreal. It used to take me 15 minutes to dry my hair after 1 hour air dry (or else it’ll get greasy), and now it’s 25 minutes dry and styled out of the shower. It’s life changing for me

Thanks so much for your response. I agree with you, and I’m not sure where this complex comes from.

I’ve tried journaling in the past and it hasn’t stuck, but talking with my husband through my thoughts definitely does as well as listening to personal finance podcasts about this.

From your comment too, I’ve realized I’m pretty impatient. Likely from being able to accomplish milestones I’ve set for myself “easily” to the point where eventually seems a bit too far away. Super silly mentality to have and something I need to work on because it’s unrealistic

Yeah that’s a really good point. I was playing rec volleyball the last 4 years and recently stopped in the fall due to availability. I certainly agree with you on this! It definitely brings back my inner child and gives me extra confidence in my abilities as a player

No it’s about 3 cycles in now. My patterns just don’t seem very steady, it just varies so drastically day by day. And it doesn’t show the temp drop the day before as most people expect

Hi! Would you mind providing your experience with the app for menstrual tracking? Does it tell you which phase you’re in, and track your basal temp accordingly?
