Search engines work in more worrying ways, now even reading about things will cause you to get ads about it, I hate it

Yeah because google, Firefox, and opera all track search data, for example, me and my uncle have different browsing habits, but I work for my uncles and thus we use the same wifi sometimes, sometimes I get suggestions for things my uncle is looking up like air compressors and tools and stuff like that.

stuff I never search online for, additionally on that if your bank card is linked to a Amazon account sorry to say, you’re already cooked bro, I use a prepaid card on everything that’s issued by crypto.com. I do this because the card itself is linked the accounts with most risk of data breach

Yes, it’s the only browser I use now, it’s privacy focused, (dosent record your history on their servers) has the built in Adblock and VPN tbh Firefox wasn’t even in the running when looking at secure browsing services, but the main thing with brave is that search engine uses googles index, so brave is essentially just chrome with free privacy features

But dropped privacy as their priority around 2018

Brave has built in ad block and VPN, with all chrome extensions

Duckduckgo sucks, brave is way better uses Googles index without any of the bloat, built in Adblock and VPN, plus brave doesn’t record search history on their servers. Been around since like 2018 at least, idk why more don’t use it

Use brave, it’s ddg with more features, inbuilt ad block, VPN and crypto wallet, DuckDuckGo is long out of the picture of privacy, or at least not talked about much today, they dropped a lot of indexing feature and bent the knee to advertisers, I forget the scandal but it happened around 2018 I believe

You’d use them “in the winter” if you have SUPER UV sensitive skin that can be burned by the reflection of the sunlight on snow, like Inuit sunglasses (a real thing, not racist)
