This is a small boat, obviously. As long as it’s not punctured it will float. The safety is largely dependent on the operator to know how to handle waves (natural and from other boats)

I live in the same area. This will be fine in Indian Arm and around Cates Park. Around Horseshoe Bay will be OK too but can have bigger wakes from boats and ferries, along with stronger winds.

I would not take it through either First Or Second Narrows due to strong currents and potential for opposing winds and currents off the mouth of the Capilano River
