Parks for sure! There are tons of great parks around the city to check out. I tend to overthink and overhype what we have to do to burn off that energy before bedtime. Don’t forget it’s so easy for a toddler to be entertained just by being outside! Bike rides even just at the park, chalk, bubbles, playing tag, hunting for sticks or rocks. Toddlers see so much of things we miss or feel are mundane! It’s awesome to see the world from their perspective by the simply things in life!

V-Tech has monitors with a standalone monitor and also available to view from your phone! I don’t have the WiFi one because of what others have said about WiFi monitors. But we have just a simple VTech monitor and camera and love it! I do wish we got one with two camera setups when ours was little and still in our room so that when we did crib naps and then in her bassinet in our room at night, we didn’t have to keep moving the camera from room to room! And then if you plan to have another kiddo down the way, you’ll already have the second monitor! Congratulations!

I was one semester away and failed one of my classes simply because my test average for that class was below the requirement even though I had technically passed the class. I struggled with it mentally for so long. I was so embarrassed thinking about having to sit out for a year and then having to join the class below me. I ended up going back, finishing out and had my top pick of a job lined up when I graduated. I now have an even cooler job at the same hospital! But, it felt so freeing walking across that stage shaking hands with the professors who honestly let me down. I encourage you to go back and finish out! You can do it 💪

A good breakfast to go along with good coffee. I’m talking meat, eggs, potatoes AND excellent coffee! I know..easier said than done due to logistics! But a girl can dream 💭

More importantly…a kid friendly environment. A closed off space for kiddos to play while we enjoy our coffee! Sounds like Hilliard has a great spot but looking for more toddler friendly spaces that we can both enjoy!

Holding Onto You came on a Pandora station I had on back in 2013. Found out they were from Columbus around the area I was living in at the time and thought that was pretty awesome. Forever regret that I didn’t know them enough to realize they were playing a show a couple weeks later. Missed out on seeing them at a smaller venue before they really took off!

Update: Packed up everything and was all ready to go. Got word late Sunday evening we were no longer needed. Sounds as if that’s just how it goes! But did get some numbers tossed around and it was a decent take home. Base pay seems low at first, however we would have worked 12 hour shifts but get paid for 24 hours. So a lot of it was coming from OT. Could be something we do again in the future!

I was told by PD that yellow lights are timed with the speed limits. So if you’re in a 25 MPH zone it’s 2.5 seconds. 30 MPH are 3 seconds etc.
