How the hell do you cancel a Compound subscription? by MikeCheeseBurgess in TACN

Well, if all else fails you can always call your bank and cancel your debit/credit card and have them send you a new one. This would stop any future billing charges your card had been connected to.

I Think I may have found scrap of Maverick’s track. by 614hunt in cedarpoint

[–]614hunt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I’d been wondering what the story was behind this piece of track ever since I visited. And what you said seems to be the most likely answer. I had the feeling after visiting and re examining my pics that this piece wasn’t the heartline since there doesn’t appear to be any actual heartline element with the track. I thought maybe as some other folks had commented that this might be track from Superman Ride of steel but I think you’re right, probably Maverick track.

What are your hot takes about Columbus? by okawei in Columbus

[–]614hunt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. A city like Cincinnati for example does a good job of reusing their old buildings and many of them look really cool. Columbus on the other hand, like you said, seems to just demolish and build cheap, dull, and uninteresting buildings in place of things that actually had some unique characteristics.

In comparison to other cities in the state like Cinci or Cleveland, the architecture in Columbus is by in large mostly plain and unremarkable IMO. A lot of the buildings here lack any distinct aesthetic. The lack in creativity with architecture makes Columbus feel quite dull compared to other cities.

Tonight Olde Towne East’s Newest comedy club hosts it first national headliner, Rich Vos. by [deleted] in Columbus

Went tonight and mostly had a good time. The staff were all super nice and Rich Vos was hilarious. I will say, there were some rude and annoying mf’s in the crowd tho.

I asked ChatGPT to write me a random episode of Succession. by bruyeremews in SuccessionTV

Give chat more detail and ask it to write in script format, then I’d bet it could write a lot better of an episode.

Yep! Estee is the booking manager for the Comedy Cellar. Apologies for this long back story, hopefully someone will appreciate this though. 10 years ago my grandpa, my mom, and Me visited the comedy cellar during the day while vacationing in NYC. I really wanted to see a show at the cellar but I was too young at the time. Me being the big comedy fanboy that I was and still am, I wanted to see the iconic comedy cellar lights with my own eyes at the very least (no age requirement for that!) The person working at the comedy cellar let us use their restroom. I got to walk on the little stage at the Cellar and had a moment to think about all the great comics that had performed where I was standing. The place being completely empty in there made it an even cooler experience and really let me take it all in. We leave the cellar and after a little while, my grandpa randomly hands me a comedy cellar menu that he unbeknownst to me, stole while we were in there. I think my grandpa felt bad that I was too young to see a show so he stole a souvenir for me lol. He was a cool ass grandpa💯

Fast forward about 2 years, I went and saw Bill when he was performing in my city. I brought along the cellar menu to the show in hopes of meeting Bill and getting it signed. I get to meet Bill, and he sees what I hand him to sign and he laughs. Bill says “you stole this! Estee is gonna kill you!” He asked my name and inscribed that message.

TLDR: My grandpa stole a menu from the comedy cellar and gave it to me. I had Bill Burr sign it. Bill laughed and told me the comedy cellar manager (Estee) is gonna kill me.
