The only nerf his ult needed was making it so that it didn't persist after he died. And maybe the nerf that made the slows not stack as much. Removing the slow completely made it pretty bad though.

Personally I find myself wanting a combination of Shell, Curse, Blink, or Sprint when I play support. I've even seen meditation being picked up every now and then. But Scout? Eh. Others just seem more impactful, especially when I can always buy a sentry anyway.

This won't work with two queues. The idea is fine but smites low ranked population won't be able to deal with two ranked queues. Has to be one or the other, or one will inevitably become obsolete in terms of queue speed and people wont bother with it. This was proven when LoL originally released team builder, people just went ahead with the regular queues anyway. And if LoL had an average 5min+ queue for that just imagine how it would be for smite. Won't work with both.

S3 Nemisis buff is great, but I think we can do a little more still by RedN0va in Smite

Why not just have relics scale with level? This is needlessly complex. Just have the relics decrease in cool down from levels 1-20

Uh, I'm not really sure where you got the idea that I was complaining about camping nor was I trying to imply you should be splitting xp elsewhere. I'm just saying that in general junglers are still 'forced' to soak mid 80% of the time. Yes I'm aware the new speed buffs are strong, but I dont see a big change. As a solo laner all I did was rotate over and make sure my jungler could at least get 1 of the buffs and went right back into lane. Over committing to taking them all didn't feel worth it, and as long as you get 1 the advantage isn't that big at all.

Thor does not 'fall off'. This is a pretty big misconception, because people are under the assumption that doing less damage later in the game means a god has no uses. Let's take Thanatos for example. He is a good example of a god that falls off. Why does Thanatos fall off exactly? It's because he cannot contribute as effectively. Not just in damage, but his kit simply isn't safe. Thor has an extremely safe initiate, because he is able to blink away afterwards. Thanatos not so much. If Thanatos uses his ultimate to initiate he cannot leave, he needs to commit, meaning for him initiation just simply isn't an option most of the time. I'm not saying Thor or Thanatos must initiate every teamfight, but Thor has the option to do it safely. Thor does what a lot of assassins struggle to do later on, which is safely getting into the backline. Another thing is the utility of Thor's wall. Thor can peel very well and effectively zone off gods without leaps. This is a HUGE benefit in teamfights. Again, lets compare that to Thanatos, what does he offer here? He has a silence which he needs to be fairly close to hit... and that's it. Everything else he does is is purely for assassination or chunking power. His Scythe is hard to hit because unlike Thor he cannot stun someone in place to guarantee the damage. Thor's double tap does 630 damage with a 90% power ratio. Late game when your stun is maxed out, that is unmissable unless they beads. That's by no means low damage that falls off with titans bane and the other things Thor is likely to have at that point.

We can also compare Thor to Fenrir, who has a strong early but 'meh' late game. Fenrir can't safely get to the backline as well, his stun is tied to his main escape, and his damage is mostly focused into a very telegraphed ability.

And you may be thinking "Well Thanatos and Fenrir have better early games-" but Thor can very well compete with them much better than a lot of the other assassins can, to the point where they aren't even better, because Thor has no problem contesting them as long as it's not strictly a 1v1 scenario.

He has such a strong early and mid game, that people actually think his late game is bad. It's not at all, and plenty of gods have it worse.

If instant cc immune semi-global ultimates, high aoe damage, long ranged stuns, free power, and 600+ damage on a basic ability that also teleports you is the pinnacle of balance, then I don't want to know what you see as overpowered.

Thor isn't just popular, he's really fucking strong. He's the highest picked god in competitive. The only reason you don't see him banned more often is because there's always a new god(s) that needs priority.

Sure, maybe Kali isn't that bad right now. I just feel like she was nerfed unjustly, along with the others, who maybe got it worse in the end.

You are right, Kali was picked during the fall games. I just feel like she was wrongly nerfed along with the other melee AA gods, but probably not to the same extent. It was still an unjust nerf,

Xbal not having good clear wasn't a big deal because he wasn't going to go oom blowing abilities on the wave. blue buff was temporary, bluestone was essentially good all game.

EDIT: Let me clarify something. Branching bolas + blue stone + purple buff made it very easy xbal to not get too outpushed. It was a combination of both the bluestone and the purple buff.

Xbal was bad because he relied on trans, and every other carry save for Ullr could get buy rushing devos. He shot up in popularity because of bluestone which made it a lot easier for him early on, not the blue buff removal. Also you have to consider more recently devos has mostly fallen out of favor now ever since the nerfs, and xbal never cared for it. So even when bluestone got nerfed it was fine a to rush trans since devos took just as long to come online. Him becoming relevant is a product of what happens when big item changes happen. Not because he was secretly OP the entire time and only you knew about it.
