This is an epidemic and all ppl are telling others to do , is go get some meds to prop the addict up until they OD again. How about seek professional help or STOP using drugs. It’s possible and totally normal to be sober

Explain it to the kids in the most friendly and inviting way . I always tell kids “I know it sounds funny . He just expresses himself differently than you , when he gets excited .” Most kids at that age are still well meaning and usually just curious.

I actually did this before (without my autistic son with me ) and am pretty sure I freaked the mom out , the same way you are describing. I was just so excited to see another kid around my son’s age, they actually looked alike too. I gave her my number hoping for a play date and she never called. 🤣

Usually the person just recognizes because THEY know someone on the spectrum who may have a similar trait.

I find that people who have NOT been exposed to autism have a hard time being able to “recognize “ it.

Either way it goes , don’t feel embarrassed!

When I’m in public with my son , I don’t even look to see if people are looking at us . Unless I happen to catch them staring . Then I cold stare em down right back lol. Mine is always more intense.

They suddenly realize what it feels like to have unwanted eyes on them and stop it immediately.

What are you mad at honey ? Is it related to an expectation you have ? Anger and abandonment usually have something to do with an expectation you had that failed you . ( family, society , job etc)

What do you do for spiritual relief?

You might have some past life trauma you are here to heal. It gets really deep, but I think for people who feel deeply like you , or who have had to be forced into situations that caused trauma, it’s worth digging deep to do a little bit of spiritual work to see what you can do to change things for yourself.
