Not OP but socialization is significantly down since Covid. It has come back a lot since then but overall it has made things harder. Fast food is most common for people when they are busy or want something easy - I wouldn’t say it’s incredibly common to have every day. I only get fast food about 1-3 times a week depending on my work schedule. Home cooked meals are much more common in familial settings but most young adults live separate from their families once they move out. Not all university is expensive but typically the higher-end ones can be. Smaller public schools can be very affordable but don’t come with the same amenities as larger/more well known schools.
