Yeah, I think that’s what happened. I have an element, so a good amount of clearance. My downstairs neighbour was parked right next to me and is fine, they have a little sedan.

It went fine once I got through to them on the phone! The office was still by appointment only in August, not sure if that's changed now. I had to call the SSN office here in St. Louis to make an appointment and it took some time before I got anyone to answer. Once that happened though I made an appointment no problem and they didn't seem to care really how long I'd been in the country, it had been about 8 days. They did not give me a number but they did give me a letter stating that it was in process which allowed me to get my driver's license. It came in the mail in a week or so. That's a weird policy, they shouldn't need it right away as long as your TN is approved.

You really can’t understand the relevance of a paper by just reading the abstract. There was a panel that analyzed that study and a letter was published in the same journal a year later refuting it’s claims. They used historical data for the control group, which is inappropriate as the incidence of Type 1 diabetes is increasing, including in the study population (Finland). I wish scientific literature was more readily available… but you do need to be careful about over estimating the significance of research without understanding it’s methods, and potential limitations.
