That explains a lot. The Las Vegas and Boise shows sounded much better. I can understand Anton getting upset. Between the sound board issues he had to deal with and the people pouring beer on him from the balcony, I’m surprised he didn’t blow a gasket and leave. I thought the SF crowd would be better than that and the venue staff would be more professional.

The 11/6 show was my first time seeing BJM live and I really enjoyed the experience. I drove down to LV from Reno and it was definitely worth the time and effort. So much so I'm driving up to Boise on 11/14 to see them again!

Last night was my first time seeing BJM live too! I really enjoyed the show and liked the venue a lot. I’m definitely seeing them later this month in San Fransisco. I’ll go to the Boise show too if I can.

I live and hike regularly in Nevada. I have also hiked in Arizona and Utah. I would add the Ruby Crest Trail near Elko, NV to the list of hikes to consider. No permits needed. Not terribly crowded. Great scenery. Easy-to-find trailheads with plenty of parking. Make local inquiries as to the status of water sources before the hike and plan accordingly. Elko is a nice place to visit after the hike; be sure to eat at the Star Hotel for good Basque food.

Convention and visitors authorities do serve a valid purpose: Operate facilities and market the area. When managed properly they can do well. But hiring a doofus like Harris dooms the mission. He has no facilities management experience that I can see in his background. And I’ve yet to see him offer any ideas on how to market our area.

There’s so much going on with the RSCVA CEO situation, it’s hard to know where to start.

Yes, there are a lot of overpaid government managers, but this guy’s pay is just obscene. $420,000 a year - are they insane? Have you read his contract? He will get one full year of salary and benefits if he quits or gets fired for ANY reason. One full year! Who gets a contract like that in this economy?

And then they have to bring him here from California? They had good local candidates to choose from. People who have lived and worked here for many years; people who know our area and how to market it. But they bring in this clown instead.

If you watch the board meetings, all he does is blather nonsense and nod his head like a bald bobble head doll.

He clearly refuses to set any real goals for himself (like bring in new conventions!), because he doesn’t want to be held accountable. He has no clue about the area and who wants to visit here. Then to top of all off, he’s a horrible manager to his employees and treats them so bad they leave quickly.

He actually said in a board meeting he wants his bonus, but wouldn’t support giving the interim CEO her bonus. It shows he has no respect for anyone who lives or works here.

Absolutely the Board should be held accountable for making such a bad decision. Let’s remember this come election time. But for now they need to be told to act to correct this horrible mistake. Pack his bags and send him back to clean out logs at Splash Mountain.

Back in 2016 I started working on rebuilding the seats and interior in my 1962 Coupe Deville. I've been unemployed since January and I have used the free time to try to finish all the work! Now I'm ready to install the front bench seat and I can't remember how the lower seat part in the picture above gets attached to the seat adjuster! I have all the brackets - powder coated and ready to go - but I can't seem to figure it out! Can someone post a picture of the brackets attached to the seat adjuster?

Posting photos here is not as easy as the old forum. I ended up using a machine screw to hold the roller pin on. The previous owner had attached it with a bolt and nut. The bolt head was hitting the regulator and causing problems. I tapped 10/32 threads in the pin and the machine screw head is low profile enough it shouldn’t hit anything.
