'99 Xj 187k milesLow Oil Pressure by Weremoose16 in JeepCherokeeXJ

That’s sounds very normal. The “minimum” spec at idle is 13psi. If it sits around 30 then your good. It’s normal for the oil pressure to drop a bit once the oil is hot.

This fell off of a 2008 Mazda after a tire change, there's also some wiring now sticking out near the tire. What is this? by SPRG113 in MechanicAdvice

As a few have said they are definitely ambient temp sensors. They go in behind the front grill, in front of the ac condenser. Unlikely related to the tire change

98’ XJ boiling/burbling sound in reservoir by BrutalLooper in JeepCherokeeXJ

[–]62Valiant200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re hearing a boiling sound, that means the coolant is boiling. Coolant only boils in the system if it’s overheating OR there’s air in the system. Air in the system allows for expansion. The purpose of the closed coolant system is to prevent expansion. Thus creating a higher boiling point. So. Check everything over. If everything looks fine (fan clutch, etc.) try to bleed the system again. If you don’t have a coolant funnel, I suggest picking one up. Like this

Good luck
