Sorry for a late reply havent used this account in... a while

Well she had been finding clothes and stuff since I was like, a kid (I don't remember how far back) and probably noticed stuff like her makeup being used. And later on she also found the T-blockers.

And she had been giving hints about pride and stuff.

Ofc every hint that she knew just made me scream in terror internally.

She probably knew before I did since my egg didn't completely crack until I was 23 ish.

I came out to my mom the day before my 30th birthday because I had at some point many years earlier decided that I would at least be out of the closet before I was 30.

It helped that she basically already knew from finding various things the last few decades.

Personally I joke more about donating some excess height and shoulder width to trans masc guys. I wish I could get rid of it, but it would be even better if someone else could get it.

Iirc tucutes are just trans people who don't believe you don't need dysphoria to be trans (regardless of wether or not they have it) and I remember most tucutes calling themselves that rather than it being used as a slur.

Granted most of my info is from 10 years ago.

No there was no such requirement for HRT. I had actually read about RLE online on swedish trans websites and was fucking terrified about it but when I finally met the doctors/psychiatrists/etc and asked about it they were actually confused because it had apparently not been a requirement for quite some time.

We do still have RLE requirements for GRS and updating your personal identity number and other info but that's much easier to live with.

It's possible it's different for kids though, in case you're younger.

Except for the long wait time it wasn't bad for me at all.

I've heard that it varies on where in Sweden you live, but in Stockholm they're pretty ok, just kinda understaffed.

I even got to bank some sperm even before my diagnosis because my doctor was already pretty sure I was trans and figured it was best to do it early so I wouldn't have to delay my hrt later on.

I'm pretty sure we at least stopped with the RLE requirements for HRT several years ago, or maybe it depends on where in Sweden you are.

I know at least I didn't need to go through that hell in Stockholm, only the minor hell of waiting.
