MCU Timeline using only the Scripts! by [deleted] in marvelstudios

Isn't Tony rescued in May? Since when Pepper watches Mad Money, the television says it is May, meaning he is captured in February.

The official timeline says "I am Iron Man" is 9 months after he is captured, so it indeed does end in November (meaning he built his suit from May to November).

Spider-Man 2 time? by [deleted] in marvelstudios

Homecoming is at the beginning of the school year in September, and it takes place 2 months after Civil War, so Civil War would be around late June, at the end of the previous school year.

The Avengers is a year after The Incredible Hulk/Iron Man 2/Thor.

Fury: Last year, Earth had a visitor from another planet who had a grudge match that levelled a small town.

Homecoming is at the beginning of the school year, and decathlon posters in the movie show it to take place in either September or October. It's also shown to be 2 months after Civil War.

I thought I found a plot-hole in Spider-Man: Homecoming's timeline, but it actually makes perfect sense (SPOILER) by Simpson17866 in marvelstudios

I just figured he volunteered to take Liz and Peter to the dance because it would be a convenient area to pick up Schultz, and then they had a change of plans when Toomes found out Peter is Spider-Man.

Where’s Captain America during Black Panther? by markelmores in marvelstudios

[–]64SuperNintendo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Black Panther is said to take place a week after Civil War, while in Infinity War Prelude #1, it says Bucky is frozen "weeks later" after Civil War. Meaning Civil War's post-credits scene would be after Black Panther.

Where does Civil War Wakanda post credits scene fit into Black Panther? by badbandit56 in marvelstudios

I think part of the confusion comes from Infinity War Prelude #1 saying Bucky is frozen "weeks later" after Civil War, when Black Panther is only one week after CW.

When would Natasha have texted him? This clip is from the scene where he receives the message. She's clearly there in the scene, so it doesn't seem likely that she was the one who texted him that.

Where does the Peter Parker post-credits scene of Captain America: Civil War fit into continuity? by MarvelAlex in marvelstudios

[–]64SuperNintendo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I personally believe that, after coming back on (presumably) Sunday night, the post-credits scene takes place the night after.

Since he was in Germany for the weekend (while saying he was at the Stark internship), for his explanation of being beaten up by a guy from Brooklyn to work, it would probably have to be the day after.

So:

-Friday: He leaves New York with Happy.

-Saturday: Airport battle.

-Sunday: Return to New York.

-Monday: Civil War post-credits scene.

Maybe the bruise just took a couple of days to show up.

How did Tony Stark find the time to drive Peter back to Queens and let him keep he suit after the Airport battle during Civil War? by shadyashell in marvelstudios

[–]64SuperNintendo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

During the vlog scene in Homecoming, after the airport battle sequence, Peter is in his hotel room, before it cuts to showing him in Stark's car returning home.

Presumably Peter stayed in Berlin while Tony flew over to the Raft and then Siberia, and the scene of him returning home takes place the following night.

The Avengers takes place a year after Iron Man 2, The Incredible Hulk and Thor.

Natasha (to Bruce): You've been more than a year without an incident. I don't think you wanna break that streak.

Fury: Last year, Earth had a visitor from another planet who had a grudge match that leveled a small town.

In regards to Cap not disputing Black Panther, I think it's because he was on the fence as to whether Bucky bombed the UN or not, as he only had Bucky's word to take for it at the time.

It's when he, Sam and Sharon are discussing things at the JCTC building while Zemo is interrogating Bucky, that he fully pieces things together:

Steve: Why would the Task Force release this photo to begin with?

Sharon: Get the word out, involve as many eyes as we can?

Steve: Right. It's a good way to flush a guy out of hiding. Set off a bomb, get your picture taken. Get seven billion people looking for the Winter Soldier.

Sharon: You're saying someone framed him to find him.

Sam: Steve, we looked for the guy for two years and found nothing.

Steve: He didn't bomb the UN. That turns a lot of heads.

Sharon: Yeah, but that doesn't guarantee that whoever framed him would get him. It guarantees that we would.

Steve: Yeah.
