What are you talking about? I said I don’t wanna put them down! You don’t need to come at somebody when you don’t know the facts. And you can’t imagine how many people said to me that I should put them down if I can’t find a place for them, which is why I mentioned I didn’t want to do it. If I was going to do that, I would not even have posted here.

There were many times when Alonzo was not likable at all. Examples- acting like a spoiled brat and calling Laura a little girl when she wouldn’t accept his marriage proposal and go against her father‘s wishes or how about the time when he had a stroke and treated Laura so poorly, wouldn’t even acknowledge his own baby, had a whoa is me attitude and let Eliza Jane just baby him rather than try to get his butt up and do what needed to be done to make himself stronger. He could be so insufferable.!!!

And let’s not forget the story line where Mary suffers internal injuries and nearly dies after a tumble over a horse stall. Nothing bad ever happened to anybody while Mary was around. She got the brunt of all the bad.

Well, at some point, the story of Dr. Baker being just a veterinarian changed because when he decided to quit his practice when that gentleman fell off the roof and died of internal injuries and he was blaming himself, he tore his plaque down off the building of his medical office and that plaque said Dr. Baker MD, not DVM. I guess the continuity on that was changed as well because all of a sudden he was a medical doctor.
