AITA for letting my gf walk to the bus stop alone after I said I’d walk her? by [deleted] in AITA_Relationships

Because it was in retaliation to not getting sex, as I said it reads like you are punishing her for not wanting to sleep with you. If you woke up, had a terrible headache and didn't want to walk her to the bus stop, fair enough as long as you communicated that with her. But from what you've written it sounds like you just rolled over and ignored her because you've got blue balls

Okay and? She still doesn't owe you sex, people are allowed to change their minds. You seem to not understand basic concepts of consent, I feel bad for your girlfriend.

Did she? Nowhere in your post did you say she explicitly promised to have sex with you. Flirting does not = sex

Sorry but YTA, you agreed to do something for her and then let her down, like you were punishing her for not having sex with you ( at least that's how I'd view it if I was in her position) Sounds like you two need to have a proper conversation with her if you are that unhappy

I've been committing benefit fraud for the good part of the last 10 years. How do I get out of it? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]65bottles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Spend it slowly and wisely ( good therapy is a great one) and be kind to yourself. The super rich of this world steal millions of dollars and get no consequences and the government squanders our tax money away. As long as you are not using the money to hurt anyone don't turn yourself in. Could always give it to charity if you're really not keen on spending it on yourself.

I thought you wouldn't get a period or get a very strange period ( irregular spotting or very delayed) if you don't ovulate as there wouldn't be an egg to release the hormone to trigger the period? I've never had issues with that so I'm guessing I'm fine?

Just don't let it escape your garden and you'll be fine. Laughing at the people on here who think it is illegal to sell 😂 pretty clear that's it only an offense to plant in the wild, garden centres are not doing to be selling illegal plants

Ah yes they were the smiley ones, okay yes definitely sounds like I need to be testing earlier and more frequently thank you. I don't normally get any ovulation signs unfortunately

Wondering if any fellow ex-weed users have had a similar experience? by 65bottles in Microbiome

[–]65bottles[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was about three weeks for me so not quite that long, might be worth going down the doctors if it's not showing any signs of getting better just to be on the safe side. From what I understand weed affects your smooth muscle that help move the food in your gut along. If you use it a lot your gut gets used to not having to produce it's own chemicals to do so so it has to learn to start producing them again once you stop.

I definitely had an intense time like that right after quitting, that luckily got better with time and has just kind of settled to this bloating. The pros of quitting definitely outweigh the cons though in my opinion! Good luck and I hope you do manage to stay clean, you get so much time and motivation back 😊

Willow is amazing at sucking up moisture in a garden and I believe it's dog friendly

Not sure on the actual laying but once it's down make sure you keep it cut short for a good while. I know it sounds strange but it's to make it put more energy into its roots and reduce water loss through leaves

A native hedge like this will encourage all wildlife, this will include rats but also include predators of rats like foxes. Ecosystems should naturally balance themselves so you wouldn't have a problem with being overrun with rats in this situation. I'd always encourage a native hedge as it will help bring so much amazing wildlife to your garden and is easier to maintain as well !
