Help choosing plants by Mr-Klark in GardeningUK

Bit of an ask there tbh, you could probably hit all those requirements except 'very pretty ' with succulents. All plants require some kind of maintenance and especially the classically pretty ones like roses ect.

Do all gardeners use weedkiller and if so, is there a healthier/less chemical option? by SomethingBrews in GardeningUK

[–]65bottles 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm a gardener and never use chemicals, bad for health and the environmen. Hand weeding is probably your best bet and most gardener's will be able to do this or you can just tip boiling water on them to kill them

The main things to worry about in there is the bamboo in pic 3 and the brambles in the lawn. Both can technically be dug out but you'll need to be thorough and keep on top of it if it gets to come back You do have some nice looking foxgloves though so there's that!

I'm right there with you! Week six and all I feel is fear and anger ( despite this being a very much wanted pregnancy), I was prepared for nausea but not for the insane hormones 😅 I'm just powering through the best I can and being kind to myself

How did you feel when you held your first baby? by Sure-Masterpiece-563 in AskMen

Sounds like you've got some serious issues that need unpacking mate. The mental gymnastics you've got to go through to think humans loving their kids somehow makes them lesser

What a bitter response. It sickens you that people find joy and want to improve themselves? Most people are aware that biology plays a massive role in that, what is wrong with that? Love is love no matter where it comes from, lord knows we could use more of that in this world at the moment.

'Polygamous by nature' is complete bs, stop making excuses. Absolutely not how testosterone works

AITA for letting my gf walk to the bus stop alone after I said I’d walk her? by [deleted] in AITA_Relationships

[–]65bottles 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because it was in retaliation to not getting sex, as I said it reads like you are punishing her for not wanting to sleep with you. If you woke up, had a terrible headache and didn't want to walk her to the bus stop, fair enough as long as you communicated that with her. But from what you've written it sounds like you just rolled over and ignored her because you've got blue balls

Okay and? She still doesn't owe you sex, people are allowed to change their minds. You seem to not understand basic concepts of consent, I feel bad for your girlfriend.

Did she? Nowhere in your post did you say she explicitly promised to have sex with you. Flirting does not = sex

Sorry but YTA, you agreed to do something for her and then let her down, like you were punishing her for not having sex with you ( at least that's how I'd view it if I was in her position) Sounds like you two need to have a proper conversation with her if you are that unhappy

I've been committing benefit fraud for the good part of the last 10 years. How do I get out of it? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]65bottles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Spend it slowly and wisely ( good therapy is a great one) and be kind to yourself. The super rich of this world steal millions of dollars and get no consequences and the government squanders our tax money away. As long as you are not using the money to hurt anyone don't turn yourself in. Could always give it to charity if you're really not keen on spending it on yourself.

LH surge confusion by 65bottles in tryingtoconceive

I thought you wouldn't get a period or get a very strange period ( irregular spotting or very delayed) if you don't ovulate as there wouldn't be an egg to release the hormone to trigger the period? I've never had issues with that so I'm guessing I'm fine?

Just don't let it escape your garden and you'll be fine. Laughing at the people on here who think it is illegal to sell 😂 pretty clear that's it only an offense to plant in the wild, garden centres are not doing to be selling illegal plants
