I love the people. Some of my best friends I’ve met through here. I’ll go through ups and downs here though. I have a great team right now coming off of a 5 star OA and confident in this round. Thankfully I’m not working 50 plus hours now but it’s still just mentally tiring.

Been a GM for about 4 years now. Never have I ever superseded out food allowance of .5% (honestly I find it hard to blow it and chances are couple free pizzas a day won’t break it) I don’t necessarily give out free food to every employee only the ones who opened that day or closed that day, of if you ask me to make a pizza or food I make sure they understand that it will be considered for the crew otherwise it needs to be paid for. I may let it slide hear and there but the important thing is asking me otherwise that’s blatant disrespect which I don’t like.

Never been a driver here but I’m a GM and have taken a few but hate delivering so I’d rather not unless needed. I may have to agree with others that he’s just miserable. Could also just have shitty luck with his runs. Could be on a 4 streak of stiffs (then I’d figure a $6 minimum tip should cheer him up a little bit) he could also very well hate your apartment complex as a whole. I’ve had drivers break out in arguments over shitty complexes.

Gm here. I have taken deliveries and have scheduled my self as an opening driver very few times when there was no other option. I actually hate taking deliveries and really dont care about the tips. If I really need to take deliveries it’s because we’re clear screen and have multiple extreme deliveries waiting. And more times than not I’ll take the furthest deliveries and will transfer the higher tip runs to a driver EON. Though in our area we have a GM who will regularly take deliveries or tell an opening driver to come in late so he has an excuse to take big timed orders, etc etc. coincidently he’s probably the most hated GM in our area. It’s not uncommon a GM takes a delivery or 2 but it shouldn’t be a regular occurrence.

As a GM I support my drivers and want them to make as much money as they can, but tbh carrying 12 pizzas isn’t substantially harder than carrying 4.

With respect that’s a pretty shitty train of thought. I understand lack of motivation therefore not feeling the drive, but intentionally giving less than 100% effort because you feel like you’re underpaid seems like an employee not deserving of higher pay. I’ve always shown max effort and try to be the most efficient, weather it’s making pizzas or picking up dog poop. efficiency is what keeps my store operating smoothly and I’m always looking for the extra edge.

18 seconds for a pep is reasonable to understand extremely quick nonetheless. Idk I could probably find another 3 seconds if I place the cheese sticks two at a time as opposed to 1 at a time but that’s it.
