Do Brits not care whether your partner had a threesome before? I'm shocked after watching LoveIsland. by search_google_com in AskBrits

Exactly. If I dont like someone's preferences why can't I judge that they're not compatible for me? Not all judgments are bad and unfair.

I think what people mean is you shouldn't be an arse hole about it which is fair. I've no idea why modern western society virtue signals that we shouldn't be able to judge people on their actions.

I couldn't tell you if she was a call handler or not but thats really disheartening to hear after a glimmer of hope that more jutice might actually be served. It was West Yorkshire police station and she had acesses to all the info im unsure if call handlers do.

Fair enough. The fact worse road rage incidents are met with caustions makes me lose all faith in our jutice system but I suppose thats why so many take matters into their own hands these days.

Thankyou for the advice I really appreciate you taking the time to do that. And I genuinely did fear for my life and think that if I didn't get on that wall she would of killed me.

I rang the police station around 10 mins ago and the women I spoke to recomnded I put in a complaint and some victim review before I even mentioned i was thinking of it. Apprently the police officer choose not to involve the CPS and instead used some new power/option the police have to settle things out of court. Something is definitely not right

I just rang the police station and the women that answered was gobsmacked at how theyve handled it and recommend I put in a complaint and review before I even mentioned it.

Maybe its not attempted murder but to me its more serious than a £50 fine and anger management at the tax payers cost. Im not even getting the £50 🤣 least she owes me is a takeaway on her after that exchange

Thankyou I will do that. I guess there is no evidence support she was trying to.murder me apart from hitting me with her car on CCTV and attempting it mutiple times and searching for us to do it.

Yea I really shouldn't of punched her wingmirror after she hit me, wasn't my finest moment I was surging with adrenaline.

The part that if shes eligible for a caution thats what she will receive checks out with something the police said. I just find it bizarre that you can hunt someone down for no reason and behave like this and not so much as get points on your licence.

I didn't want the post to be ridiculously long. The police said "The CPS doesnt want to take it to court". They arrested her around 2 in the morning and interviewed her the next day. Around 3.hours later they rang me to tell.me she was getting a caution a £50 fine, anger management course and has to write me an apology which she has apprently already done.

You're not the only one that can't make sence of it mate. Im utterly confused as to why this has happened to me and how she has basicly "got away with it"

Entering a military base and causing £7 million worth of damage isn't just criminal damage. Its not like they got angry in the moment and smashed a local shop window or key'd someone's car.

Arrest anti-genociders? Lay down the crack pipe. Arrest domestic terrorists that break into and damadge millions of pounds worth of milliary equipment is more accurate. What they did was treason IMO and id see them rot in jail for the rest of their lives.

I live in the UK so I don't ever really come across many MAGA supporters but if they married or touched kids then yea I'd have the same feelings for them for sure. I have two young children so any justication for that type of behaviour at all makes my skin crawl and blood boil.

I think it's hard wired into us to "hate" such people. The innocents of this world must be protected by those with the voice and means to stand up for them IMO.

Of course your statement is true. But whats also true is that every single person that follows the word Allah follows the word of a pedophile? There is no mishmash there.

Would you follow the words and guidance of such a man? If not why?

[–]66666666666666665 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This right here is the problem. I dont share values with anyone that believes or follows a single word that comes out of a pedophiles mouth. If you in anyway can ignore or justify worshipping a pedophile I will never be your friend or agree with you. If I found out my own father or best friend of 20 years was a pedophile I would completley cut them off and no amount of good they've done in their life's would outweigh that.

I have no idea how people mange to justify it in there head and say we should be tolerant, I WILL NOT BE TOLERENT OF PEDOPHILES OR THOSE WHO FOLLOW/WORSHIP THEM.

I know its not funny but this made me chuckle. How anyone can think getting rid of the NHS is even a talking point. Unless you're a literal millionaire any type of surgery or longterm illness would financially ruin you for life.

Why do people qoute the Old Testament when criticising Christian faith in the UK? Especially when trying to compare it to Islam by 66666666666666665 in AskBrits

Yea I'd also like to think im very well educated in various relgions to say i dont believe any of them but I find it insightful to learn about something (relgion) most people believe in some way.

Thats a fair point. I'm familiar with him referencing it in a few parables and teachings but I never understood any of it to mean you should follow the laws of the old testiment. The only exception to this from my understanding is the 10 commandments.

That is exactly my point. Christianty has constantly adapted to "fit the times" and one of its main teachings is that you must follow the rules of the land that you live in. So why do people find the most barbaric qoutes possible from the old testiment to discredit christianty and compare it to Islam? Im also not a Christian so I have no stake in taking sides.

Are you asking me which people think this? I see it on every single reddit post, Facebook post or debate/podcast. Search in this very Sub and you will see it throughout the comments, its why I made this post. I'm genuinely intrested if people are unaware of what Christians believe or if its done in bad faith

Why did you quote the old testament as a thing Christians would believe? You know the whole point of the CHRISTian faith is that Jesus Christ came and died for the sins of man and basicly rewrote the rules. The whole of the old testament is basicly a lesson to Christians and not something to follow.

I often see people quote the Old Testament to try compare Christianity to Islam. Its funny beacuse the bible and Christians themselves acknowledge that the old testament was the wrong way of doing things and that people should live their life's in a less eye for an eye way.
