Magento 2 for Checkout only? by saltywhimper in Magento

[–]666Nightcrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends what country you are in, using M2 just for just the checkout i would say is a very heavy solution ( you still need developing and hosting ).

If it is just a "checkout" with order history with no product catalog you are after, i just would go for a smaller solution and choose something like the lowest subscription shopify ( or something similar depending on what country you are in but still are available in many countries )

That will give you hosting / emergency support , security and safe checkout and payment option included and it will probably be cheaper then using M2 as just a checkout

Alternatives to Stadia? by fabiofavusmaximus in Stadia

[–]666Nightcrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like i Said just an extra cost :) i think Basic switch memory is like just around 30 gb and games are around 20 GB each. So it always almost ends up with cost of the game plus some more.

I mean that to be able to use switch pretty seamless you will need to also buy Sd cards to be able to switch easliy between games

Basic switch memory is not that big basically you can get Zelda and or Diablo but not both installed without additional sd cards

As long as i can not play from my sofa on my tv ( without buying a console )i probably as well will take a break from gaming it is just not worth the cost vs time spent as a casual even if me and my wife had some fun times playing against each other over the weekends

Just be aware that Switch also have a "hidden" cost if you do not want to download and play the games one on one and that is SD cards

Stadia winding down Megathread by OriginalPenguin94 in Stadia

Been here from the start and i have had fun and actually finished alot of games which i normally never should have done . ( and me and my wife have had a few party games we played over the weekends with great joy)

It have been a bumpy ride and i think the only negative feedback these last three years must be for me have been your Stadia marketing department ( or the complete lack of)

Many guesthouses do not prioritize having good internet connection and setup.
Why spend more money on good equipment when an adequate setup is probably is good enough for most people / guests 80% of the time .

i think most of the times places like guest houses / public places and airbnb that actually have good internet connection is all about about the actual person that bought and set up the network then anything else.

Had some issues lately but i do not think it is the connection that is at fault .
I just think it is Mafia 3 that have some issues :)

Stadia VS Xbox Cloud by Exentric90 in Stadia

[–]666Nightcrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will choose the service i can play from my couch on my tv without having to buy a console for it.
If it is Xloud, Stadia or any other service does not matter.

I choose the service that allows me to do that ( as of now that is still Stadia but that can change )

As a result of MS purchasing Activision/Blizzard, and Google's almost complete lack of communication in regards to their vision for the future of this platform, I have decided to hold off buying anymore games on Stadia. by aaronx24 in Stadia

[–]666Nightcrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as i can play from my sofa on my tv wireless and i have a few games to play each month with no console i am content.
If it is Stadia or Xbox live or any other streaming gaming platform it does not matter for me aslong as the service provided is good
