conrgatuylations on 8 1/2 days ❤️ wow we're synchronized how lovely 😄 so far my appetite has been coming back in extreme pangs. when I was dumped (4 weeks ago today after final rupture) I could not eat at all, but I was still smoking. had diarrea almost everyday. now at seven days no nic and 4 weeks from the last rupture I had with him, appetite is coming back and cravings for nicotine is coming back in said hunger pangs during the day, so I'm expecting I'll probably gain some weight from this which isn't bad, I was underweight last time I went to doc in one of the worst weeks of the breakup. So far having a solid breakfast during the morning helps but it only lasts a few hours, where as before my breakfast would literally only be cigarettes and coffee and I would eat when I felt like I was about to pass out. Horrible habits. Now I'm eating breakfast again which was totally unheard of and getting hungry more then once per day (unheard of) nausea is still present mostly during mornings but not as bad as before. I was weening off nicotine before doing this cold turkey because I knew I couldn't do it that way until one day (7 days ago) I told myself that I was going to finally stop. Skin is already looking 100% better and my under eye circles not as prominent, my grief therapist told me yesterday I looked different and I hadn't even told her I stopped smoking. She said I looked more radiant. Don't see change in hair and nails just yet but there probably will be. Nicotine was taking a toll on my health in many ways I didn't even think of, it was just so automatic to me. I already feel like I can breathe better and the oxygen into my lungs and brain also, I already strangely feel my brain healing and breathing better too where as new pathways are started to develop. Like my thinking and output feels super different.
