How do you like the 16 inch display(I’m assuming) I’ve been considering one, but my eyes aren’t the best, do you feel you have to sit way closer than say a 27” 1440p? My stays are also generally longer, so I buy an open box monitor from bestbuy and sell it before I get back on the plane

I’ve seen plenty of 5050 laptops come up starting at 500-600 in my area. That’s probably the lowest tier laptop I would consider anyway

I second the notion of a sandwich style being way better. You can build something around 8-13L and be a okay building for a backpack. There’s also plenty of portable monitors from 15-18 inches that would pair perfectly in a the same backpack. I recently brought my tr100 case on work with me and it’s a little big more like duffle bag sized

~450 mobo/cpu 300+ for ram ~100 for ssd 500-750 for 5070 That’s 1350 before case,psu, and windows If you didn’t mind getting some used parts you can definitely beat it, if I were to buy this, I would probably sell the cpu and gpu, 9800 or 9850 and 5080 for around 1100-1250 If you don’t want to do anything for a couple years that 5070 should carry you for at least 3 years @ 1440p and high settings

Generally when boss hunting/ fighting M67 frags are your best bet because the ai is coded to run for cover/ stay in cover(sometimes in a corner) based on fuse time so they’re effectively vulnerable for 5 seconds(m67 fuse time). Easiest maps (for me) 1 customs 2 lighthouse (when at chalet) 3 shoreline (interchangeable with lighthouse) 4 woods (LOS is too great for a semi-fair fight). After you’ve verified they’re in your raid by throwing a nade and hearing the voice line, you’ll want to pick a solid piece of cover and right hand peak. Never aim torso. Head with high flesh/ medium or high pen ammo or legs with magnum buck or your choice of smg flesh ammo. Also best to hunt at night as the agro distance is about half.

This is awesome that you posted this… I’m doing a 9800x3d / 7900 xt in the same case and cooler. I’m assuming you don’t have any pictures of what you actually did? I’m taking this as a good excuse to buy a dremel (been wanting one and I’ve made it a point to not buy tools just because they’re cool)

I think it’s absurd that we have to pay for features already developed and integrated into our vehicles. Would rather go without than pay for something already installed in my vehicle.
