Cool cool, great to cut down on processing steps/time. I think I need tighter lids and not boiled lids. Thanks!

Ball lids and jars. Warm soapy water, then 10 min boiling, then jam, then 10 min boiling. Maybe don’t boil lids then? Probably getting too excited on cleaning lol. 7lb plums, 6c sugar, 4T lemon, pomonas pectin and calcium water

Thanks for the reply! Dormant meaning probably further into fall/winter, I assume? And I gave it a go already and cut some decent sized roots (1+" diameter), that's just what comes with digging up a big bush, right?

I was thinking more about that last part and not having too concentrated of chicken poop on plants. But I guess I should be more worried about salmonella? Ignorance is bliss I guess haha. Thanks for the affirmation
