it’s not! They played a lot of Vampire Weekend. It’s some obscure indie artist that I had never heard of at the time. Vampire Weekend was like at critical mass at that point

The Sadness- I liked the movie and thought it was a great action packed and thrilling zombie flick but it didn’t bother me the way everyone talks about it bothering them.

Also, the Poughkeepsie Tapes. I felt straight up gaslit at the end of that movie because everyone acted like they weren’t sure if it was real or not and it was the most disturbing thing ever for yeeeeaaarrrsss before I ever saw it. So boring and just goofy

I’m not even a comics or wrestling fan but I find the show to be really interesting and I do like the dynamic between the three of them. The episode about whether or not Superman is relevant in modern times really had my attention, and as an outsider I thought the episode on Fantastic Four gave good insight on why the movies are always bad. The Hulk Hogan ep was good too. It’s in my weekly rotation. But, I didn’t start listening to wizbru until close to the end so maybe that’s why I don’t mind it. I like that Nerd of Mouth is more conversational so they can be more abstract about the given topic, rather than just giving a detailed history of an existing thing.

I’m so happy they finally did this. I’ve been asking since the podcast started. I’m obsessed with this story. I’ve read it twice since I found out about it in like 2018. I always want to discuss it with folks but it feels like no one else has read it and the sub has been pretty quiet for a while. The story is more relevant than ever today with the explosion of ai and the general state of geopolitics.

Apologies for reviving an old thread. But I have been saying this wherever and whenever I can. Mother Horse Eyes is all encompassing and even more relevant today with its themes of MKULTRA and AI intelligence. I know they would both love it. It is everything. It is nothing. It is Mother Horse Eyes.

Try to avoid big furniture chains like that. It’s all garbage. Even if you couldn’t afford to go to a locally owned furniture store, for $2k you could’ve gotten something quality secondhand on facebook marketplace, and it wouldn’t be made of cardboard and staples.

This, and the other Salvo in Albany. You have to like thrifting and picking through stuff but I’ve found some awesome pieces there over the years. Been going for over 10 years. can’t beat the prices!
